Well... On this particular visit it was easy to see why this Burger King restaurant is lovingly called Ghetto King by the locals. "Oh, my..." I remember saying, just walking through the breezeway. Then I said to my girlfriend as we slowly approach the counter to order, "If they could have an actual Burger King in prison this would be the one." Behind the counter we see... At the drive-thru window is a big red headed guy with a big scraggly red beard (no beard net) no sign of a Burger King uniform whatsoever... Not even one of those very uncool visors. Then there's a younger big kid with, what looks like road rash on his left eye, not quite completely covered with gauze bandages...his hair looking like he hadn't washed or combed it in four or five days. Our very friendly cashier ( I'm not being sarcastic she was friendly) who, during the course of taking our order, wiped her nose on the back of her wrist. There was another not so friendly looking guy with some prison ink, standing back there and there may have been another lurking about. I'm not sure.... my brain was struggling to keep up with all of these odd details coming at me all at once. To...
Read moreFood was good but service was lacking. I was greeted at the drive through and told to wait. I waited 10 minutes before placing the order. There were only 2 cars in front of me. The man in the car ahead of me was frustrated as he was charged for the wrong order and then had to wait a long time for his order. Then, they did not give me half of my order and I was told they didnt have the drinks i ordered. I waited for the rest of my order, which was still wrong and still, no drinks. After offering a refund for drinks, another worker brought me the drinks they said they didnt have. The person behind me got out of his car and walked to the window because he thought no one was working. 40 minutes for fast food- I could have gone to a nice restaurant and sat down for a meal in that time. The other customers were disappointed as...
Read moreCurrently at the location trying to go inside to sit down and have a meal but the door is locked. The only service being provided is drive-thru. I don't understand why there's not a note on the door, at least, telling people that the dining room is not open. And a reason for it not even given. The name of the general manager is on the front door but there's no phone number to call and contact her. I don't know if it's the lack of employees wanting to do their job by opening up the dining room or they are short-staffed. Either way an explanation should be given. And at the current time of 12:37 p.m. Sunday September 22nd they are not at all busy. Pretty much dead because all the customers wanting to go inside the dining room to eat are...
