From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the entire experience was wonderful. The hostess (I apologize for not asking your name) greeted us with a smile, we mentioned our dinner reservations and she escorted us to our table without delay where we found a beautiful, hand-written card to acknowledge my husband’s birthday. We were quickly greeted by our waitress, Sarah whom was so personable and amazing! This was our first visit to The Springhouse therefore we needed some extra time to look at the drink and dinner menus but Ms. Sarah was very kind and patient with us. For drinks, I ordered The Springhouse Shirley mocktail (their version of a Shirley temple) and my husband ordered the Mountain Mule mocktail, both were delicious! For an appetizer we ordered the fruit and cheese platter which is an assortment of fruits and cheeses. For dinner I ordered The Famous Steakhouse Pork Chop and my husband ordered the Coffee Rubbed Hand-Cut Ribeye. My husband and I had an expected surprise when our friends arrived for their own dinner reservations. The hostess and our waitress Lisa thoughtfully offered to seat us together at a bigger table and kindly assisted us in moving our dishes. Our friends also ordered the pork chop and ribeye and one decided on a salad as well. The pork chop is 2 inches thick, bone-in, smoked and caramelized with bacon jam, served with Parmesan smashed Yukon gold potatoes and pan-seared asparagus. Superb! 🤌 The ribeye is a 16oz black angus with a coffee spice rub served with a sweet potato stack and jalapeño honey blistered corn. Again, superb! 🤌 All of our meals had perfect portions of each item.
We also had the pleasure of visiting with Jennifer Russell, Co-owner of The Springhouse and Chef Bonnie, both of which are wonderfully inspiring people and their passion for food is remarkable.
My husband and I would like to thank each and every one of you for being who you are, simply genuine. 5-Stars, 100% recommend this wonderful establishment and we will definitely be...
Read moreI had the pleasure of visiting The SpringHouse for lunch recently, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. As soon as I walked in, I was struck by the beautiful interior—thoughtfully designed with a warm ambiance that made me feel right at home. The attention to detail in the decor set the perfect tone for what turned out to be a fantastic meal.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, striking just the right balance between being present without being intrusive. It's always a pleasure to be welcomed by a team that genuinely seems to care about their guests' experience.
Now, onto the food! I started with the blackberry sage iced tea, and it was fabulous. The refreshing blend of flavors was a perfect complement to the warm day, and I found myself savoring every sip.
For my main course, I opted for the herbed chicken and sweet potato hash. Oh my goodness, it was delicious! The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, while the sweet potato hash added a delightful twist that brought the dish together beautifully. Each bite was a little burst of comfort.
Overall, my first visit to The SpringHouse was a resounding success. I left feeling satisfied and eager to return. I will definitely be dining here again, and I can't wait to explore more of the menu. Highly...
Read moreI called in ahead of time and was informed that they weren't busy on Saturday and a reservation wasn't necessary. We arrived, my wife and I, and were seated right away, the tablewasdirty so we had to wait for it to be cleaned. That was the highlight of our experience. We ordered sodas. Waitress introduced herself. 20 minutes later our order was taken...long wait in my opinion. I drank my soda and set it at the edge of the table. Saw the Waitress' back a few times but never saw her attention to refill our drinks. Food came and it was brought by the busboy. Wife got fries...no ketchup. 10 minutes later my soda was finally noticed and filled, at which time wife finally got to ask for ketchup. Food probably got to our table 30 minutes after ordering. I got the flatbtead which should have been called dessert. Sweet cranberries, sweet potatoes, and sweet balsamic. Wasn't my cup of tea...wasn't cooked nearly long enough. $17 for the flatbread is pricey. Wife got a burger...not impressed. She ate half. I took a bite...tough chunks throughout. Never heard what the soup of the day was. I think if you don't order alcohol then you're thrown to the back burner and not paid attention to. $46 for two people to eat without appetizers. Sometimes simplicity is the best way to...
