Based on tonight's experience this place is overhyped just because it's new. Higher priced food for the area for the portions. While food was pretty decent, we've had better. It was me, my husband and our 2 children.
Service wasn't the greatest. They have 1 person for each job it seems. 1 to seat; 1 to take drinks, orders, refills, get to go boxes, checks; 1 to bring food out; 1-2 to clear tables; 1 to wipe down etc. 1 guy stood staring at everyone off to the side waiting for people to finish. While he was on top of his job it was odd with the feeling of just being watched.
For no more than we ordered it did take a while for food to come out; but no biggie as it was busy (again would have been better if they had a couple people waiting tables etc.). It was dinner time so understandable especially with their setup.
When our food came out, my husband was brought just a burger on a plate...no bun no fries etc. When ordering he told the waiter he wanted the burger with none of the toppings just cheese & ketchup. I can see how it could be a bit confusing. He told them he wanted fries, the gentleman told him that it came with fries he didnt need to order extra; so it was a surprise when he didn't get those as well. So we told the server that brought the food out what the order was to be & that they didn't bring my youngest's alfredo out. They corrected my husband's meal. My youngest ate on the appetizer until hers came out. Or so we thought as we figured it would be a few minutes to bring out; since it was forgotten. However, it never came.
We sat with empty drinks. No one checked about refills, checked to see if our meals were okay etc. We had to flag the gentleman down to get a box & the check. He got sidetracked trying to keep up with the others, he realized he never brought the check and went to grab his machine. I asked about the bill to ensure we didnt get charged for the alfredo as they don't bring you a bill to look over & there's no kiosks to review on your own. He looked at us in confusion every step of the way from ordering to checking out. So I can't fault him overly but having someone that understands the customers & more than 1 to do it all would help immensely. So as of now we aren't impressed but may go back in a few months to try again when the 'newness' wears off in the area. Get more people helping the customers please!
As far as the restaurant, everything is new and clean. Hopefully will stay that way & not get trashed up etc. Nice bar area. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Plenty of space so everyone isn't on top of each other. Nice fixtures around. TVs around with the same thing on all of them pretty much.
