My son and a friend of mine and I happened here quite by accident on the way out of town having just left the ordination of a new priest at an Orthodox Church in Wilkes-Barre. We were on our way back to Harrisburg. We were hungry, in the mood for Greek and found this place on Google Maps. Am I glad we did! Dimitri and his wife, Calliope, are also Orthodox, and it was like meeting family we didn’t know we had. He asked, ā€œWhat’s with all the crosses?ā€ (Each of us were wearing them, and that made the connection.) And the food was amazing. I had a beef/lamb gyro and Greek fries. Everything was so flavorful. I took a couple pieces of baklava home to my wife. It was some of the best I’ve had (and apparently made according to a sixth generation recipe). Go support these good people! The food is top-notch and the service is warm and inviting. May God grant many years to them and their business.

Demetri...quite the gentleman. I ordered 3 gyros and he actually called to tell me I could get 1/2 off one of the gyros bc of the special. The gyros were absolutely delicious!! Warm pita, fresh meats and toppings. Pick up was easy and convenient. Demetri also took the time to show me the other dining options such as the outside deck and inside area. All very clean and inviting. I will definitely try other menu options. Highly recommend!

Wanted to give Demetri yet another shout out today.(friday, November 17th) Thinking it was Thursday today, I ordered 3 sides of french fries because the fries were the "special" for Thursday and included if you ordered a sandwich or gyro. When I picked up my order, Demetri smiled and said "Joanne, even though it's Friday and not Thursday, I'm giving you the French Fries anyway! Felt foolish about my mix-up, but wowed by Demetri's generosity. As usual, our gyros were super delicious and the fries a very special tasty treat! Demetri's wonderful spirit and fabulous food, will keep me...

This is not weary to find, thank goodness they put up a big sign with the name on it. I would have been upset if I missed this evening. The food was excellent! They do Greek right. I had the rice bowl and it was a LOT of food. I didn’t finish it but would have loved to. It’s kinda self service, no frills, but great food. You feel like you are in Greece. The place filled up ( only 6-7 tables) at about 6:30. One guy came by and greeted everyone personally ( owner) , nice touch. We were enjoying our conversation and when they should have closed they allowed us to keep talking while they cleaned up in back. They never said anything and when we realized we apologized and they said, no problem, we’ll be here for a while cleaning up. We enjoyed it immensely and I will definitely go back. Thanks for such a great night. If you see their food truck absolutely give them a try! Prices were...
