UPDATE**
Manager Joe reached out to me via social media to talk about my groups experience. Today we came around lunch time for food and drinks, wait time was about an hour. I ordered the mother leeds lemonade bucket (wow so good). Joe found us and expedited our table. The manager is very present and you can see him running around to help his crew. Our server came to our table and his name is Brandon. What a ROCKSTAR!! Funny, polite and efficient. Food and drinks were great and kept coming. The band playing was the perfect touch. This visit was so much better than the first. So happy we tried it again. Thank you again to Joe LeGnar for reaching out to me about giving us a better experience to talk about. And dont forget Brandon. He was so busy bouncing table to table, keeping busy. We cannot wait to go back.
First time coming here. Visually, very nice ambiance. Music selection tonight, good and fits the crowd. Warm and welcoming feeling, none existent. I called at 7:30pm tonight and asked the host what time was last call for food and alcohol. The response was 10pm. Thats perfect, we were waiting for another friend to join us. Food menu looks great and I'm excited to eat. We walk in about 8:54pm-ish. Thank goodness my one friend had been here before because I didn't know if we had to wait for a table or seat ourselves. We find a table, sit and a server comes to tell us kitchen is closed...... seriously, I called just to be sure since I know things are different because of covid regulations. Fine, I'm hungry and will not be getting food, wonderful. We get up and go to the bar and order drinks. Bartender was nice and efficient. Drinks prices are fair and made quick. We go back to a table. Sit, take a sip and same server rushes up and says we need to go because her station is closed. ... for a first impression, failure! It is frustrating when you go to great trouble to make sure what is what just to "lyft" for $22 and the main reason you get somewhere and you cannot do half of what you came for. Information is golden. Information is key. If someone calls, please give to correct details so this doesn't happen. I do want to come here again but I dont see it happening for a while since this first experience was a...
Read moreThis is a beautiful establishment on the banks of the Mullica River and on a beautiful day, it’s THE PLACE to grab a drink! . They have a huge selection of their popular buckets. These buckets are about $15 and yes, they come in a bucket. They have a huge draft selection and a ton of signature cocktails. . However, the food here is extremely lackluster. It is a shame that the food is so far behind from the level of drinks that they prepare. The food is a little bit expensive, but the quality is extremely low (at least for what we ordered). . We will definitely be back to try the wings. They looked good as the waiters were carrying them out to other tables. The table next to us ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was an extreme grease bomb (expected from a pepperoni pie), once they dabbed the top of the pizza with napkins, it did look like a nice thin bar pie. . Let’s talk about what we ordered. We got cheesesteak egg rolls, potato skins, side order of fries, and vegetarian sushi. . The potato skins were $12 for four and they were absolutely inedible. They were dry, they were hard and crunchy, and they actually put the sour cream on top of the potato skin for you. (Not a big deal to me however, the girlfriend hates sour cream, and that was her order), if we order them again well ask for it on the side…. I doubt we will though because they were so bad. . The cheesesteak egg rolls that she ordered weren’t that bad. They came with a doctored up ketchup and white cheese sauce with pepper inside. The ketchup was pretty good, but the white cheese sauce was not. The pepper flavor overpowered everything and it just tasted like you were eating straight, black pepper. I love Cooper sharp black pepper cheese, but even then, I think it’s a little bit too much pepper. . The fries were good. They were basic french fries they weren’t expensive. We got a good value for the portion and size. . My vegetable sushi was excellent. It was only nine dollars, it was well prepared. I really enjoyed it. . Again, this is a place a beautiful day to go grab drinks. Just be warned with the food, Is really subpar for how beautiful of a...
Read moreI cannot express enough how incredible our wedding day was at Sweetwater Marina and Riverdeck! From the moment we began planning, Chris G., the Catering Sales Director, went above and beyond to make every detail perfect for us. His dedication and professionalism exceeded all our expectations.
Chris assisted us in planning every aspect of our special day, and had the best recommendations for us throughout the whole process. Throughout the entire event, he was by our side every moment, immediately fulfilling every request we had—no matter how big or small. Whether it was ensuring our favorite drinks were always refilled, bringing us extra servings of our preferred dishes, or attending to any other need under the sun - Chris was right there, incredibly quick and attentive. It's like he's a superhuman! I've never met anyone so exceptional at what they do.
We had the wedding ceremony by the river. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The inside ballroom and outside patio/deck provided the perfect setting for our cocktail hour and reception. The space was both beautiful and amazing, creating an atmosphere that our guests are still raving about. The food for the wedding was also incredible! From cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres, appetizers, through dinner and dessert, our guests had so many compliments.
I didn't expect my wedding day to be the best day of my life, but thanks to Chris and the entire team at Sweetwater Marina and Riverdeck, it truly was the best day ever! We also love visiting Sweetwater Riverdeck to eat and drink—the whole place is just so great and fun!
