The Bears Den — Restaurant in Munising Township

Came in to eat and their was one waitress when we walked in. Fine. We expected to wait. An older lady came from the back and gave us a menu. Small menu and a little higher than average on price, no problem, w.e kids are hungry. Waited for quite awhile. Son went up to get change for a 5 for the duck machine and she said I can't do that right this second (she was at the register). Again, not a huge deal but delivery matters, especially to a 10yr old... A couple comes in. She says it's going to be quite awhile, I have like 8 tables to get to. Again, delivery. We decided that was enough and left, a long with 3 other cars. Everyone has a bad day and I get that but c'mon. Customer service matters. Had her tone been different, we'd have waited as long as it took. Says sorry to us and have a good day as we left....... Prob made her day better as now 8 tables went...

Driving thur to my in-law and my child needed to us the restroom. Stopped here because it was the only place for miles. Though it could be a cool place to stop while out sxs riding this week... server was not friendly. Signed were posted about restrooms for customers only but again nothing else for miles... was going to ask but no one was around when we walked in even wait for a minute before just going to the bathroom. When we came out we were told we could be prosecuted since we weren't customers. I explained the situation and was told "it's posted so people don't ask nicely" I will definitely take my business elsewhere this week. But it shouldn't hurt there business with the whopping 6...

We were on the road for a few hours headed back home after mini vacation. We were looking for a place to eat. And came across this one. We walked in and there were several tables in front of us it took some time a s there was only one waitress working. They had a large party leave because of the slow speed. Our waitress was very friendly but was telling us they were out of a bunch of different things. So we had to go with something different. After getting our food some of it was cold and made differently. Food was ok. I'm not sure if I would try it again. I know the waitress did the best she could but it we will be passing by next time...
