La Pizzeria at Cucina Rustica — Restaurant in Murphy

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER - I don't want to give them any stars but Google is forcing me to! We went there last night (party of 4). Waited over 30 minutes to get a table - admittingly they were busy, however, we liked their food and wanted to wait. We were then told that in order to get service sooner, we could "share" a large table with another 4 person party - sitting us at both ends - which we were fine with. However, we had been waiting 30 minutes and they sat the other party first (they had been there about 10 minutes). Then, a waitress took their order first - and when my husband questioned her - she said "another waitress is assigned to you and I can't take her table" instead of "sure, let me take your order also" and then figuring it out with the other server in the back. Then - our food took another 45-50 minutes to come out - when it did, our sons pizza was so over-cooked, it could have broken a window if I threw it at it and after they brought 3 out of 4 dishes - they came back to tell my husband his lasagna would be ANOTHER 7 minutes b/c they hadn't even started it!!!!! Needless to say - he left to get food elsewhere. We stayed as my sandwich and my daughter's were edible. Yes they apologized but they gave piss-poor excuses for their being so busy and lack of communication, etc, etc. That pizza should have NEVER left the kitchen!! There was complete chaos in the restaurant - they couldn't handle their own rush and pushed the crappy management off onto the customer's expense. We will NEVER return to any of their restaurants and I hate to say that as we are locals and enjoy their groups choices normally. They did take the pizza off of our bill and the lasagna - but really - charged me $4.25 for a crappy house salad instead of French fries after all they had put us through. ...

I was in town vacationing this last week and picked up a carryout order on Wed evening as a first time customer to this establishment. The parts of the order I had issues with was the pizza (pepperoni, olives and garlic) and garlic knots. The pizza was a bright orange (so odd) and was the first pizza my family had that was inedible to us. Listen, I’m a grease lover but when I say there were pounds of grease all over the top, gross tasting and looking cheese blend, it was pretty awful. This was also the fist time we’ve ever had garlic knots that were inedible. They were very dry and had bad flavor. My family members are not picky eaters but this food was horrible. I spent $56 (including tip) on a meal where we had to throw everything out except for the cheesesteak. Incredibly...

Visited for Labor Day weekend. Because of Covid-19 we only do take out. When I approached I asked if I could place an order for take out. The lady said, let me ask the kitchen. She came back and said yes only if its not a big order. We are not really doing take out right now. Let me say there were only 2 tables with people in the restaurant it was only 5pm. Right behind me another guy asked to place a take out order and she told him they are no longer doing take out tonight. I mean you try to support a local restaurant and being Covid-19 you would think they would be thankful you were there. Its a pizza joint and no takeout?? I guess they don't want our take out money. I will not return due to the rudeness of the receptionist and of course no take-out. Too many other local...
