The Dirty Dog Bar and Grille — Restaurant in Muskegon Charter Township

Let’s just say I’ve had some bad and some good experiences there

Pt 1: some guy threw a fit at me and made me into the bad guy for sticking up for myself during the Tyson vs Paul ufc match!

Pt2: got better treatment, and thought a lil more of the place for a sec there…

Pt3: played some video games ate some hot dogs and burgers and drank some beer in peace….

Pt4: the ultra tweaked, adderall-addict looking bartender yelled at us and accused us of using the WiFi… when we tried to reason with her she kept talking over us….

I hear bad things about this bar and its owner a lot, the owner who I’ve met personally on pt3 was very intrested in having a college night supposedly while talking to me, but low and behold the whole community was right this woman who owns this bar can’t pick a lane…. She’s indecisive and changes her mind constantly and then complains she isn’t making enough money and that the place is always empty!

Here’s an awesome idea, stop chasing off the local college students, and maybe you’ll have some capital.

Me and my buddy decided to grab a burger from here one day, and we really liked the selections that we made. Juicy burgers with a nice selection of toppings and condiments. The cook came out of the kitchen, and chatted us up a bit. She really bragged up the wet burrito and told us that Thursdays were wet burrito day at a discount. A couple of months went by and we decided it was time for a delicious wet burrito. Let me tell ya, it wasn't very good. The ground beef was lacking in seasoning. The tortilla was dry and nearly inedible. The enchilada sauce (gravy) was just beef gravy with no other spices or seasoning. To say the least, we weren't very happy with our meals, and I'm sure we won't be back in the future for anything. The bathroom was nasty and stank like crazy. I've heard the food was good, so we bought their gift card through Sweet Deals. We had an awesome lunch! The service was exceptional, we were even greeted by their Doberman when we arrived.

Tina, behind the bar was great. attentive and friendly service. I had the Wet Burrito, it was as good as I had heard it was, and large enough to save some for dinner. The cook even came out from the kitchen to make sure everything was tasting good. I thought that was pretty cool!

I noticed that they also do Music Bingo and have live entertainment some days, Definitely plan to go again for both of those. Really like the low & comfortable bar stools too. Cool place with great service and good bar food.
