La Bonita Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Mustang Ridge

We ate here and ordered enchiladas, menudo, coffee, and bean and cheese tacos. The food was horrible. It concerns me a bit to see all the great reviews on here about good food. I come from a family of running Mexican restaurants and great customer service. This place had neither. My 9 year old ordered Kids enchilada plate and spit or a piece of plastic from his enchilada. The waitress gave us 1.00 off our bill. We didn't get an apology, no manager came out to check on my son...nothing just a whole dollar. WOW!!!!! We got told instead that we should've told the waitress sooner. Which we did.apparently that wasn't soon enough...who knows we might've gotten 2 whole dollars off. Please don't eat here, keep driving.perhaps if someone were to choke, they might get an apology out of them....or a manager to show face. Good luck. A also they're tight with menudo and...

I would not recommend this place, you would rather starve. First and last time customer. Ordered a large menudo and two barbcoa tacos. The menudo ended up being a pig foot w juice. The tacos had very little meat and tasted horrible. Unfortunately I didn’t notice this until I was home so I called to let them know that I was disappointed and requested a refund. I was told they would have the Manager call me. Manager never called so the next day on my way home I stoped in w my receipt and pictures. The Manager seemed to care less and refused refund. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

Also just found out the owner is willing to accuse and lie because she is angry over a honest bad review. This is an attempt by the owner to defame my character and a form of retaliation. Stay far away...

Don't give them your Credit card, Im a long time customer at this place, And I never knew that I would've been robbed blindly by this restaurant that I called Home. I payed my meal that was $20.45 for myself, just 1 meal and 1 small drink and I didn't give any tip because all I had was 170 dollars in my card so I can use that for my bills and food for the week since I go to college and these people up and tipped Themselves off my card they took out $60 of my card as a tip without my Acknowledgment until I checked my card to pay my bills and my card declined. I keep my receipts and also take photos before I leave any restaurant. It's Devastating that I can no longer trust this restaurant that ive eaten here for 4 years anymore. Shame...
