Booher’s Fresh Market & Diner — Restaurant in Napoleon Township

So we finally got a chance to eat here the other night my husband got the SMASHED BURGER 🍔 & FRIES. His exact word's this was the BEST JUICY BURGER IN THE AREA!! I had the smaller size of the Spaghetti 🍝 and meatballs it was wonderful the service is FANTASTIC !! I know prices ate going up but let's keep this restaurant going nothing is better than a family owned business. Thank you Boohers your restaurant ROCK'S!! So it's 2025 and we just left I had the German dinner and it was the BEST they taught me a new way to cook the Spatzel my Mother in-law was German and she alway's would toss the noodles in brown butter but the way they cooked it was FANTASTIC and I will be making it just like I had it with caramelized onions and bacon the pork cutlets in the homemade mushroom gravey PERFECT the sweet red Cabbage was wonderful and the home-made saurkraut was great!! I got a piece of pie to go then we went in the greenhouse and the owner gave us the last cucumber plant!! If you want a SCRUMPTIOUS TASTING MEAL HERE IS YOUR RESTAURANT NOT TO MENTION IT'S LOCAL ALL FRESH GOOD QUALITY FOOD THE STAFF WAS EXCELLENT AND SO ARE...

This is a locally owned small restaurant right on M50 outside Napoleon, Michigan with some choices you won't find at the chain places, and it's better prepared. Everything is made to order. Nothing sits under warming lamps. Burgers are grilled to order and juicy and flavorful. Fries are seasoned and not overcooked. Haven't tried the smoked pork tacos yet or fettuccine Alfredo yet. "Yet" being the operative word because I will be back. Pepsi products served here. Also Italian soda which are fruit flavored. There is also a display cooler filled with pies. Staff is friendly and helpful explaining what everything is made from. The place has a small dining area of about 6 tables with room for a few more. Give them a try. I think you'll like this restaurant.

Went back to try the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. It was excellent. Also tried the sausage biscuits and gravy with hash brown casserole. Very flavorful. You won't have to search to find the sausage in the gravy like a lot of other places. The sausage comes from a well known meat market in the area and the flavor really comes through...

This is a Mom & Pop establishment. It seems like the whole family is involved.

The service is fantastic. They only have 5-6 tables. Tables, chairs, and benches lining the wall. Our table rocked because the floor is uneven. Nothing that little wedge couldn't fix.

None of this will matter to you after you see how good the food is. Everything is made from scratch. So save room for a slice of their homemade Pies, then take one home with you.

But the real reason I went there was because I was told they have the BEST BURGERS in Jackson!! I was surprised that the edges of the burger were crispy. But that's part of what keeps the flavor in.

I had the Mushroom & Swiss Burger, and it just melted in my mouth. Seriously!! It was soooo good. And you will know it's good because every bite is as good as the first.

I love these little hole-in-the-walls. They usually have the best food.
