Okolona Tavern — Restaurant in Napoleon Township

I don't know what all the five star reviewers are raving about. I had the bratwurst patty and couldn't Force myself to finish it. The "salad" was shredded iceburg lettuce with shredded cheese and a bottle of off brand salad dressing brought to the table. The fries were so-so at best. The bratwurst sandwich was drowning in mayo! I wanted mayo, but not enough to warrant a between meal angioplasty. My daughter liked the cheeseburger (though to my tastes, it was like a Burger King patty). The waitress was nice, but she was the Only server for the Entire place. I was underwhelmed, at best. Maybe the wings make up for the rest? IDK. The food was...

Only because I can't give 0 stars. Absolutely amazed at the barmaid who told me I couldn't hold the door for my wife in the womens bathroom , with a broken lock is the most non customer service oriented person in the world. She screamed at us, berated us, then told other patrons that we were disrespectful and escalated the situation. I have been in sales for 20 plus years and have never been treated like this. I will never go there again. Especially since their issue with building maintenance, was not my wife's, nor my fault. I would love to discuss the situation...

Okolona Tavern is a great place to go for wings, with homemade sauces, a great menu and the best bar staff around, this place is a Henry county favorite.
