Stella's Kitchen — Restaurant in Napoleonville

I would recommend eating here before eating at any other restaurant in napoleonville. I ordered the mixed feelings which is a shrimp and catfish poboy and it was actual poboy bread ( I’m from New Orleans this matters ) and REAL seafood! The catfish was flaky and full of flavor the shrimp were prefect not over cooked and the batter they used was great not regular flour and egg wash it was more like a breadcrumb crust which was satisfying. I wish I had taken pictures it was about 7 inches and came with steak fries which were crunchy like I like. My boyfriend ordered the crawfish etouffe with a fried catfish on the side I tasted it of course and it was great! Rice was perfect it had great flavor.. it also came with a side salad, croutons, tomatoes, cucumbers, a pickled okra, Parmesan cheese and choice of dressing. I will be coming back here to try a gormet burger. We were here on a Sunday which they had a brunch menu! The brunch menu also had a drink selection I wish I had taken pictures of it because it was very shocking to see what they offered unfortunately I can’t remember. You MUST come here you will not be disappointed!! This was my first time trying Stella's Kitchen and unfortunately I was left disappointed. I went during my lunch break and ordered spinach and artichoke dip, but they informed me that they were out, so I ordered the crawfish queso beignets to go. A few minutes later they tell me they do have the spinach and artichoke but since I had already ordered something else, I just said next time. Almost 30 minutes after waiting, I'm told for some reason the kitchen never got my ticket for the beignets, and asked if I wanted to get the spinach dip. At this point, I need to get back to work since I only get 30 minutes, so I asked for a refund. I'm told I can't get a refund because of low funds that she will have to venmo my money back at the end of the day! I gave her my information and left. 20 minutes later I get a call letting me know my beignets are ready if I wanted to come pick them up. I was just at a lost for words. Great food! Wonderful atmosphere! Spectacular service! This spacious, welcoming restaurant offered the most delicious food presented with beautiful taste. Updated nicely with a beautiful palette of grays and white, really wood tables and floor, breadboard walls. We were told prior to pandemic they also offered live music.
