This place is exactly what you think when you think “Southern Charm”. The outside of the restaurant is gorgeous. The place looks like a country farm house with a wraparound porch. Inside decor is rustic and has that country charm. All wood paneling and rocking chairs galore. The service was excellent. Our waiter was prompt and attentive. The food itself was delicious. We started with Cole Slaw and a raw onion salad drizzled in a Vinaigrette dressing. Both were absolutely delicious. We followed this with the fried dill pickle and onion ring sampler. Both appetizers were better than we could have expected. The crunch of the breading along with the choice of seasonings used gave a perfect balance to the dill pickle chips. The crunch of the onion ring crust was on point. Next we dug into the main entree. The red feather sampler was more than enough food for my wife and I. The platter included two huge portions of fried catfish, 2 equally large boneless fried chicken breasts, 4 fried shrimp,2 hush puppies, and a generous helping of french fries. The catfish was on point and perfectly seasoned, my only complaint here was no fresh lemon wedges were offered for the fish. Next, the chicken was good, albeit slightly heavy handed on the salt. The fried shrimp were great on their own. The breading was plenty flavorful, however what was offered as cocktail sauce was merely ketchup with a whole lot of extra sugar in it. The hush puppies were slightly different than what I expected. They contained pieces of diced green pepper, which surprisingly led to a very pleasant overall flavor. Overall, I would give this establishment a score of 4.45 out of 5. Good ole southern food at really reasonable prices.

Hubs and I were in town doing some sightseeing and decided to stop here for dinner. First let me say USE EXTREME CAUTION when entering this business! It has 2 sets of double doors - I was struck by both sets from people exiting the building. The doors are solid, without windows, so no one knows your there. We got here around 7 pm for dinner. The host was ok, but did take me a few minutes to figure out where we were supposed to go to sign in. We did have a 20 minute wait so we went to the bar. The bartender was friendly and the bar area had a 100 health score. Never did see one for the dining area though so don’t know their score. Our waitress Ashley was just down right AWESOME! She greeted us with a big smile, and was vey professional. She is an expert! Now to the food. Once you are seated they bring out coleslaw, pickled onions and cornbread. For my part there was a little to much pepper in the coleslaw and I wasn’t really a fan of the pickled onions. The corn bread was very good even though a little toasty on the outside. I ordered the 12 oz sirloin med rear. It was perfectly cooked. Hubs had the Red Feather Sampler. We each shared our dinner with the other. The catfish, fried shrimp, and the fried chicken tenders were very good. My one drawback and reason for not giving a better score was the chairs. They are excellent to match the Restauraunt decor but they are not comfortable in any way , shape, or fashion! Made my back and legs very very sore! Hubs and I were to full to test out the deserts so hopefully someone else will review those.

AWFUL!!! Just don’t go! Our waitress was the only positive thing I have to say. She did her job well, was very pleasant and I think even she knew the restaurant is just gross. The first clue should have been most of the chairs being up indicating they know they never have a crowd but throwing caution to the wind we sat down anyway in the one small section they had open. We paid $205 yes $205 for a family of 4 for food that was inedible. I watched the faces of others who were not impressed either. We are now ordering pizza because everyone is starving. I did notice this sign as we left the parking lot. Seems rather snarky but again tells of their attitude towards your dining experience. They sadly don’t care. Don’t waste your time or money. It even had an odd smell which again is our fault for ignoring. The whole experience just GROSS 🤢. UDATE!!! In Response to the owner. We absolutely DID NOT try and get free food! That didn’t happen. In fact we didn’t even complain because my husband said and I quote you this place won’t be open much longer give them the money and let’s call it a wrap! So we left a table full of food and never complained. Do the right thing and clean up that gross mess for the next patrons! I’ll also add that I highly doubt so many positive reviews! You can’t stay open unless you do better! Stop lying! Take more pride in your establishment

I've been to this location a few times, and the food has been really good... HOWEVER!!!!! Tonight's experience was ABSOLUTELY horrible... My wife and I arrived at 7:30pm to grab a table for 6 of us to celebrate her 35th birthday. We had invited three of our neighbors for a "first time experience!!".. Once we were seated it took the watress Julie approximately 25 minutes to initially get to our table to simply state, "I'm sorry guys, give me three more minutes and I'll be back to get your drink orders!" After another 5-10 minutes, she came back to retrieve 6 drink orders which consisted of 5 waters and 1 tea.... She then proceeded to take another 15-20 minutes to take our orders.. Once taken, we still had yet to receive our beverages.... TEN MINUTES LATER we received our beverages.. At this point, we were STILL waiting our food... It took approximately AN HOUR AND 15 MINUTES TO RECEIVED OUR FOOD!!!!!!!! When asked to speak to a manager, Kim the assistant manager came.... She reported (paraphrased), "Well. Since you wanted your fish fried hard, it can take up to 40 minutes to fry it hard! That COULD be the reason that it took so long." ANYONE in their RIGHT frame of mind knows that a piece of fish fried for 40 minutes is NO LONGER EDIBLE!!!!! It took my sister to go up to the front to grab the attention of the manager after asking her about compensation for us to get a legit answer.... It also appears that Julie the waitress lied on Kim when she brought back a message to the table stating, "I told her, but I don't think she's coming back ... Here's what 'I' can do... I ONLY have the authority to take off the birthday girls dinner...." After further discussion with Kim, my sister found out that it is not in the jurisdiction of a waitress AT ALL to "comp" a meal, and that she NEVER told Julie that she wasn't coming back to talk to us, and that she was outside speaking with the general manager regarding our concerns.......... Julie...... You lied.... Then, upon attempting to finally pay, my sister's card "went missing, until Julie "FOUND IT UNDER A TABLE" AFTER our party of 6 individuals pulled back every chair in the area Julie was standing in..... Something just didn't sit RIGHT with that situation... The experience for a birthday girl and 3 new comers was horrible tonight..... I don't know if we'll be back!!!! Cock of the Walk.... Check your people..... It wasn't that busy in...

First off I want to mention that the rating given here is based solely off an unexcusable occurrence. There are some good factors that would have put the rating at a 4 but the occurrence, which I'll mention, greatly dropped their score. It was my first time eating here, but passed it many times. Got there at 7pm there was less than a 10 minute wait for a table even though the place was not even remotely packed. Our server Erik was nice, got our drink orders (and another tables) brought them all out at one time, plus the sides :coleslaw (overly vinegarized and not satisfactory), onions (do not eat onions), and skillet cornbread (not bad but wasn't sweet, yet the corn and jalapeno pieces in it helped). After Erik took our food orders (around 19:18) we ended up waiting until 20:28 for our food to arrive at the table. Erik did mention that they put a bunch of steaks on the grill and that they had a "small grill" and it would take some time.. I found that silly since being a restaurant having a small grill would seem counterproductive. Food came to the table after over an hour wait. The steak that was delivered however was the problem. Cooked the way it was wanted but the meat was very very sour. I ordered the sampler but after trying a small piece of the steak I completely lost my appetite. I am not one to waste food at all but I couldn't even eat it. The manager said it they had a huge rush earlier and the meat could have been left out, or that it was possibly an older order that wasn't cycled to the front and was just a one off incident, but she still did comp the cost of the meal, however, being served bad meat is enough to make me never ever eat there again, and I WILL NOT EVER EAT THERE AGAIN. Some of these other reviews may be true overall and if so then I'll just miss out on a good opportunity. But for those who read this be aware, it is possible you may be served terrible meat. I'm just glad it was beef and not pork or chicken. So that incident alone is what caused me to give a 1 star because I...
