Triple J's Cafe — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I'm biased. I love the little mom and pop shops. Or the greasy spoon if you will. This place has a little of everything and getting more. You want oysters, got it. You want chicken fingers, got it. You want a Philly, got it. Chicken alfredo, got it. I saw a health report on the wall "98". That's awesome and explains why the food is so good. They care about what they are doing and need your business to stay open unlike the massive chains. It appeared to be a family business and the entire experience was fun. Inside seating with tvs to watch. Parking isn't great. Not for such a wonderful place. They do get busy, It would be nice to see it in a different plaza where more people can enjoy this awesomeness. It is a mom and pop shop, so don't expect a super fancy dining section. They quality is in the friendly service and certainly in the amazing dishes they produce. was thinking it would take 15 minutes tops. I got off the bus and thought I’d catch the next one in 40 minutes. The food, however, took 45 minutes, and two people who ordered after me got their food before I did. I ordered the Cajun wings with fries and fried mushrooms. The wings and fries were warm, but after sitting there for 45 minutes, they should have been hot. They had little flavor, which pissed me off, and the wings were small too. On the other hand, the mushrooms were extremely delicious. I’d give 4 stars for the mushrooms and 1 star for the wings. I ended up missing the bus, but the lady taking orders was very polite. Mannn! Triple J’s Cafe oughta be an ashamed of themselves for serving me this Big Back Members Only, Salmon/Lump Crab Meat Stuffed/, Provolone Cheese, Onion, and Pepper Stuffed, Well-Seasoned Seafood Philly! This sandwich is soooo good! 10/10 hands down!

Update 12/18/24: Changed my rating due to poor customer service. Did a DoorDash order and they labeled the bags wrong for the dasher! I spent $50 for food and only received 1 item I ordered out of 4 and an item I didn’t order. I called to get the situation settled and I’m being told that they don’t see this happening. Really?!?! This is ridiculous. I will not be patronizing this place again. I can afford the food, I have no reason to lie. It be our own...
