Union Hill Trading Post — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Our little community needed a place like this. My friends and family have been here several times. Today’s review comes after stopping in for their Sunday brunch. Our table sampled pretty much everything on the menu except for the bacon. The sausage gravy-to-biscuit ratio was perfect. The gravy wasn’t too peppery. Hashbrowns were good and had good flavor. Over easy eggs and scrambled eggs were cooked to order. Cinnamon rolls were excellent. We had mimosas and a bloody mary and no complaints there either. The staff is always friendly. Stopped in early to try out the food and was quite disappointed. Picked up a BBQ sandwich and nachos and got home only to take a bite of some of the worst bbq ive had and ended up throwing it all away do due it being over cooked. Perhaps I just came in on a day where I got pulled pork that I couldn't pull but who knows Now don't get me wrong, I'm sure this place is a great spot for gathering and laughs but don't expect much as far as food. Drinks, on the other hand, pretty much covered the whole menu so if your looking for a variety of alcohol, this...

I hate to be a downer but when my Thursday night group met there a few weeks ago, I got the nachos and it was excellent. So returning last night I again ordered the same. I was extremely disappointed! My wife and a friend agreed. For $12.00 we got some small chips and little else. It was a gooey mess with too much sauce and too little meat, a sprinkling of feta, a dollop of sour cream and that was it! Another friend got the BBQ sandwich and was very complementary. I like the place but the Nachos need to be vastly improved or taken...
