Fisherman's Cove — Restaurant in Nashville

We are from Texas, we went here about a week ago. The three of us walked in and the lady was on the phone, she acknowledged us but then when she was done with her conversation, she just started typing on her own phone and stuff and so we waited in silence for another 30 seconds before

my dad had to ask “do we just seat ourselves?” She nodded and so we did. The first 100 seconds were a 1 star experience. Tell people that, or have a sign that says “seat yourselves”. 😕

After seating ourselves our waitress was with us shortly, and the food was excellent, and was brought to us in a timely manner.

It was a bit pricy but it was great. Other than those first 100 seconds, everything was a 5 star experience, but with 5 star pricing as well. (Not really;...

Fantastic place for a quick bite or full meal!! Service was quick, food came out fast, hot and fresh!!

Ordered the crawfish tails and the Captain's Platter. Was surprised when the waitress brought out a basket of hushpuppies with my salad, didn't realize they did that.

Crawfish came with remoulade and cocktail sauce, both homemade and phenomenal. Captain's Platter came with tartar sauce and more cocktail sauce. The catfish was nicely breaded and perfectly flaky, the clam strips were nice and crispy, the shrimp was great. Did not get a chance to try the stuffed crab because I was stuffed (😅)!!

Everything was phenomenal and very nice portion sizes for the price.

Excellent catfish! Tasted clean and cooked just right. The setup (beans, tomato relish, slaw, and hush puppies) was yummy, too. The hush puppies were so good I could take a bunch to go for later! Unfortunately, the gumbo was not real gumbo. Red tomato-based soup with seafood. Eh And the "homemade" coconut pie is NOT homemade. It was not good, either. All in all, we will be back. Definitely want to try some other menu items. Also...this is probably the cleanest restaurant I've seen in a long time. No dust on the ceiling fans, clean baseboards, carpet not stained, everything was just super clean in the dining room and bathrooms. I can only imagine they keep the kitchen just as clean. Kudos...
