So we are on a short road trip and got here at 6 pm. Online says they close at 8. Owner stated "We are closed, I'm going to an event." That's so unprofessional, when you know you're the only place in town. Also if you are going to close whenever you want, put your hours as approximately or put on there that people should call ahead to check. I get it's a small town, but there is no excuse for not letting people know online that they should call ahead just incase you have to close early.
