West River Cafe — Restaurant in Nekoosa

Please read!!….If you know me you know I’m not rude or inconsiderate to anyone I don’t favor certain people! If you don’t know me I’ll treat you like I have known you forever! I like making new friends and welcoming everyone! These last 2 reviews I’m frustrated by I don’t mean anyone any wrong and I don’t call anyone them names so honestly I’m speechless and hurt on these and would like if you would reach out to me on our fb app I want to make things right with you! Walked in here with my son looking for a good breakfast after traveling from out of state. Several locals enjoying their breakfast. I've walkind in to little places like this before and expected the usual "youre from out of town so we won't work very hard to help you" kind of attitude. I was completely and pleasantly surprised when we were seated right away and made to feel like we were dining at our friends restaurant. The servers were pleasant and very attentive. Our waitress was nice, our food was AMAZING and they even offered my son a refill of his drink to go. I dont get up to Nekoosa often, but rest assured I will bring my family here every time I can. The breakfast was so good that we decided to go the next for the fish fry. It was the absolute best beer battered walleye I’ve ever eaten. The place is newly remodeled and very clean. The staff are very friendly, and the owner even goes to the tables to make sure everything is okay. I would give this 10 stars if I could. I highly recommend for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
