On the Rocks Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Neosho

This was our 1st time visiting and surely won't be our last. The pub had just emptied out from a large group of people prior to us going in. The tables were cleared and cleaned quickly. The service was prompt and the food was pretty tasty. My husband had the chicken Caesar wrap, I had a BYO burger and my daughter had a grilled cheese,all were served with plain potato chips and a pickle spear in a plastic basket. As we waited and ate our food there was a steady stream of bikers coming and going the whole time we were there. It is definitely a popular choice on a Saturday as a stop for many travelers! This was a great small town bar! I personally got to try their cowboy burger with the fries, as well as a 14" thin crust pizza! They were all exceptionally amazing! The burger was a ½ patty loaded with cheese, bacon, and the rich barbecue sauce. The fries were some of the best I've had! Very crispy, flaky, and served with some great ranch! The pizza was perfectly crisp, and that sauce was amazing! They also have some daily specials, as well as monthly specials! This was my first visit here, was slightly disappointed. First I was in the mood for pizza and was informed that they were not offering pizza tonight due to being short staffed and very busy. I can understand, so switched my thoughts to a burger. Had their Miami burger, which was fairly tasty however the beef patty was quite overdone. The view was awesome overlooking the Neosho Mill Pond. Not marking down my rating much, since know how hard restaurants are struggling right now to find help. Sure on my next visit they will be up to a 5 star rating....
