More Than Coffee — Restaurant in Ness City

Quite a find for Central Kansas. Exceptional taste of the owner makes for a gift shop and decor that would stand out in our hometown (Seattle) and then there’s the food! Traveling genealogists need bierocks! And their wives need a good chicken salad — there’s a solid range of offerings plus Boylan cane sugar sodas! Oh, and coffee, for the deprived. We got caught in the rain on the Harley and stopped here to warm up and dry off. They were extremely friendly and seemed like genuine people. They didn't seemed bothered by the mess we brought in with us and even let us stay after close for a bit to dry off. On the way back through we stopped again and it was more of the same. Good coffee, good people, clean establishment and restroom. What more could you ask for? Great side note...

Great ambiance, absolutely charming! My husband and both had sandwiches, their artisan bread was so fresh we thought it was made in-house. I also had an iced coffee. Not at all bitter. Should have asked where they get their espresso beans! Lastly, we did a walk-through of the adjacent gift shop, a treasure in itself.
