McDonald's in Hawthorne...ugh!!! The WORST McDonald's we have EVER been to! First off if I could give a Negative-1 that's what I would rate it. I start by saying we should have turned around and walked out of there before spending $22.00. We ordered a fish sandwich, and a chicken sandwich and two drinks. Fries and drinks were large, no small or medium options. It was unkept, tables and floors visibly dirty. Cook and one server, maybe one other back person. Our sandwiches were Greasy, I had half...Half of a cheese slice like someone was hungry and ate half of it, slopped onto the bread with a soggy Greasy breaded fish???...chicken was dry and slopped onto the bread, nothing more. People came in behind us with two young girls, mom took them toward the rest rooms, and turnrd back around and left with dad We should have taken their lead. Anyway order was done..we inspected the sandwiches which were unappetizing tried to eat them, one bite was taken from those sandwiches, we don't like to waste food, even terrible food...but I just couldn't eat the fish sandwich and my husband put the chicken back into the bag and all but removed the rest from his mouth. We threw the food into the garbage!. I've waited for the opportunity to review this terrible McDonald's. We will never stop there again...please don't waste you money at McDonald's in Hawthorne. The worst of all McDonald's I've visited and ordered from. The server...
Read moreAs always, with so many employees coming in and out, quite a few times something is missing out of my order, or your order is messed up. Also, I believe it's absolutely bizarre, that still during the end of a pandemic, they NOW charge you $.50 cents for everything that you would want to add extra. Look, I absolutely get it when they charge 50 cents for extra cheese but 50 cents for dehydrated tiny few onions or an extra chip or two of a pickle, that is absolutely crazy. Also, if you get a fillet of fish, they put HALF of the American cheese, and if you ask them to simply put a full square of cheese, they charge you 50 cents for half of the cheese that they already shorted you in a first place? Unbelievable. McDonalds is becoming more pricier than In-n-out!!! And In-n-out much better and healthier, as they use real cut potatoes and better oil and meat, and they rarely mess up, and always smiling. How is this possible? 50 cents for a half slice of cheese in filet of fish? 50 cents for tiny extra drizzle of DEHYDRATED onions, or few pieses of extra pickles? Just unbelievable. Sorry for the harsh truth. Unfortunately, it's one of few places here, and...
Read moreI totally agree with the overpriced reviews. The past few years I have stopped by there multiple times and it has been at best okay. Today I stopped by and I was the only customer in line at the time. When I approached to place my order, the cashier walked away and started talking to another employee for a short time. She took my food order and I asked for " that frozen coffee with the toppings on it" She said Caramel, Chocolate, etc. I said OK. She said that is an iced coffee. I said no, i think it is called something else. She said "Oh you mean a Mocha" I said "Maybe what are the other coffee options". She said Mocha and iced coffee. I ordered Mocha. While she was filling my coffee order, she stopped to talk to another employee for a minute or so. The gave me ICED COFFE. When I said that was not what I wanted, the stuff I want has whipped cream on it, she said "Oh you wanted a Frappe. Sorry" then turned and walked away. I should have made a bigger deal about it, but was angry at that point and just left. I will not be giving them any more of my business on my frequent trips...
