So after many yrs,on a whim,i decide to return to where i grew up. Along the way my family & I stop at your establishment to eat,1st time. The place was pretty busy. We got a seat on a patio that felt like being packed in a sardine can. We ordered pizza w/fries &drinks. Food was ok..sauce was bland but all in all not terrible. Couldn't engage in conversation as the band set up in the grass not 15-20 feet away was playing. You'd think it'd be obvious that in such a SMALL AREA the amplified music from a live band would WAY OVER POWER the ears of those seated in said SMALL AREA....but apparently not. Went to find a restroom. Found just how "random" this establishment is set up. I decided to approach the women at the counter...half way there i started to hear the conversation among the very apparent "clic" gathered around. Not surprisingly I see familier faces. The unbelievable words and behaviors coming from what I later found out was manager or supervisor of weird sorts being the ring leader of the bunch 🤷🏼♀️..reminded me exactly why I left this small town to begin with!! The narrow minded, childish,SNOB way of thinking and acting! I have to laugh...oh how we forget where we CAME FROM Christine!! From what I hear seems you've made a brand new family with the "perfect SECOND husband. Im blown away that these owners allow this representation of their business!! I know these individuals would get eaten alive in a ACTUAL RESTRAUNT ENVIRONMENT! You ladies wouldnt survive in my state/city. I wont be back as i dont value listening to grown adults bully others like...
Read moreGreat little pizza shop! The food here is amazing. The pizza crust is just thin enough to not be doughy but thick enough to not be soggy. In my opinion the medium or small pizza has the best dough and therefore the best flavor and texture. I'm sure it's the same dough for all pizza's but for some reason the dough on the large comes out much thicker and therefor just taste different. It's still not bad, just not as good IMO. The sauce seems to have a good amount of spices and not just Ragu dumped out on to some bread like some other "pizza" places in the area. My only concern (not complaint) is that they may add a bit too much cheese for some people's liking. I don't have a problem with it but others want just the right amount. There is an ice cream shop in the same building which is a perfect after dinner treat and it is not overpriced. There is also a few bakery treats located in the restaurant my personal favorite is the thick and heavy brownies. They have the perfect amount of salt to bring out the flavors of the chocolate brownie and chocolate chunks with out the chocolate being to rich and sweet. It is a perfect...
Read moreOrdered a pizza and a salad to go. Luckily my wife checked the salad before we left and found they had forgotten the dressing. When we got home and started eating the pizza we discovered that it wasn't cooked through. The crust had areas where the dough was raw in the center. The taste of the pizza wasn't bad, though it wasn't anything to rave over either. The cinnamon rolls were great. If you are hankering for a sweet pastry to go with your morning coffee give them a try. The decor was pretty cool. Sort of an old fashion/antique look with a Mayberry-ish vibe. Really liked the bar with root beer on tap. Even though it wasn't the greatest experience, I'd try it again when I was in the area. Cook seemed to be having a bad day (there seemed to be a problem with another customer's salad) but we all have off days from time to time. The folks there were really nice...
