Johnson's Dairy Bar — Restaurant in New Durham

I have to concur with the previous reviewer, local guide clay jar consulting. Extensive extensive variety, I'm led to believe the reason why Johnson's dairy bar has exceptional ice cream is because there is a creamery in Massachusetts called Richards, Richards creamery they have been around a long time, and they know how to make ice cream they don't spare the ingredients It's the butter fat content that makes it so creamy and delicious. Your average ice cream stand on the side of the road or wherever it maybe, their butterfat content averages around 7%, compared to Richard's ice cream they're known for their butterfat content That's why whoever owns the ice cream stand is calling them because of their recipes, their butterfly content is usually is around 16%, so better than double. That's where the creaminess comes from one can taste the flavoring not food colorings, what others use everything comes from the butter fat low butter fat low ice cream flavor, if any at all So is the weather's getting warmer I highly recommend it. Bad service Mediocre food. Service is not the worst but certainly not good. Server was more interested in talking to the host and I had to go there to ask to order entree (because after we ordered app she ran away and didn't see we wanted to order everything) and to ask for check. She seem determined to avoid checking on us. She didn't buss away plates from apps before bring entree and probably wouldn't have if I didn't suggest it. My husband, brother and myself came in this past Saturday craving fried clams!! Onion rings!!! Brother and husband ordered fried clams with bellies i got the seafood platter!! Dinner came out onion rings cold, two whole belly clams on every plate the rest were strips!! I have shrimp in my freezer bigger than what was on my plate, the fish was dry! It was terrible!! We sent the onion rings back to be redone by that time husband and brother were pretty much done eating!! Totally disappointed, i had never eaten at your restaurant before and never will agan!!
