Lee's Seafood — Restaurant in New Iberia

This place is a gem!! I've been eating at Lee's since 1993 and its always amazing for the price. That said, have realistic expectations..its a fried seafood shack, expect 2 pieces of lettuce and watered down dressing. Also expect a go box thats almost too full to close. Perfectly fried, cornmeal battered catfish and shrimp is why i go there..not for salad. If you read this Lee's seafood..maybe try pasta salad for a change. I had a great experience at Lee's yesterday. The gentleman that served us was so courteous and friendly. The food....omg. I had the fried oyster dinner !!!! Nine huge oysters, fries, a salad and bread. It was delicious. The oysters were perfectly cooked. The salad was fresh and the fries were great. Lee's is a hidden gem in this town. Do yourselves a favor and grab some food there. You'll be glad you did. Oh and my lunch was only $7....
