Jasper Kitchen + Bar — Restaurant in New Jasper Township

May 11th - Mother's Day Part of our group was seated around 10:15 and the others were seated about 10:30. We ordered within 10 minutes of their arrival. Our waitress told us that they had lost power at the beginning of the day (around 8:00) but that it had come back on quickly. We waited and waited for our food. Finally around 11:15, a manager came around to apologize for the delay and give us a free appetizer coupon to use the next time because the table behind us had just left before they got their food. We waited and waited some more. Finally about 11:50, as we were ready to leave, I asked our waitress about our food and she said they were just plating it up. It still took another 10 minutes for it to arrive at our table. After waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes since we ordered and 1 hour and 45 minutes since we were seated, we finally got our breakfast at 12:00. When we received our bills, there was no compensation for the long wait. I guess they thought that one appetizer coupon for 7 people was enough. I flagged down the manager and asked for at least one appetizer coupon for each person and she said she couldn't do that. She did come back with 1 more free and 4 1/2 off coupons. I can tell you that we will not...

They have decent set up, only thing is I'm not sure why there is a separate dining area detached from the main building. The bathrooms are terrible set up. Women should have their own bathroom. Unfortunately a lot of us men can't seem to hit the toilet bowl. Oh yeah there was a very big abundance of flies!!

Now to the service. We had a party of 6. Never once refilled our drinks. Our appetizers came out before we even got to order. When we finally did get our food some was cold. The waitress checked on us only once halfway through our meal. Yet no refills! Had to ask a different waitress for a beer. I had to flag a different waitress for to go boxes, then another one for our check, and again to pay my bill! Really?!

Now to the food. Burgers were pretty good, quesadilla was good, wrap was just okay, and the cobb salad really good. Now to the pizza, very skimpy toppings, sauce is bland, plenty of cheese and the crust is the best part. Unfortunately it arrived cold and without the extra sauce I asked for. Definitely not worth the 20 bucks it cost. The apps were okay but also way...

This is our second time getting take out from Jasper's Kitchen + Bar. The first time was amazing, but this time not so much. I placed an online order at 6:25 pm for a 7:00 pick-up. The food wasn't finished until 7:18 which wasn't a huge deal. Once home, we noticed that my husband did not get the bacon and cheese I paid $2 extra for ordered for his tots. His tots were plain and had nothing on them. Instead the bacon and cheese ordered for the tots were put on my fries and I did not receive the garlic parmesan I paid extra for. I ordered the prime rib french dip sandwich for my daughter and she did not get the au jus dipping sauce with her sandwich and her sandwich was also missing cheese. Luckily I had some Au Jus powder in the cabinet and was able to make her some. I am very disappointed this...
