El Braceros — Restaurant in New Madrid

Food is passable at best. Almost stale chips, bottle salsa, runny queso. I got the monster burrito - and the quality would be better at most Taco Bell’s. WAY overpriced for what you get. When I had to use the ladies restroom, the only working toilet rocked. It is not secured to the floor properly. Yikes much? And the smell of the entire restaurant was a damp musk. To be fair, that is mostly cause the building is old as heck. Dehumidifiers would help the food stay fresher longer and definitely help the air quality. The only saving grace was the waiter. I knew he couldn’t do anything - but damn....

Had a late lunch today, wonderful service. Food was great.....the chunky fresh guacamole was AWESOME and served beautifully. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault. Shrimp chimi was perfect, beef tips chimi (I stole a bite from my husband) was tender and flavorful. Even the rice, which I don't normally care for in general, was GREAT! beautiful atomosphere....all of the painting and decorating done by the owner's wife....superb. Truly a feast for the eyes, while enjoying a feast...

Finding Mexican food is extremely hard around here. I’m from Colorado, so it’s a big difference! My boyfriend and I came here for a takeout order, and it didn’t disappoint in the slightest! I had steak tacos which were delicious. My boyfriend had carne asada fries. The only bone I have to pick, is the steak tacos definitely did not need 2 tortillas.
