I went to eat at St Manchu I paid for my food and my drink dispute the cashier being rude. I believed it was because they may have been a bit busy. Although it was busy most people were grabbing food and leaving but the sitting area was filthy. I went to the car and got my Lysol wipes and wiped it down the wipe was black like it hadn’t been wiped down in years! As I went to leave I asked for another drink to go. I noticed when he went to check me out that the drink that is 99 cent everywhere in America (Arizona Green Tea) they are charging 95% over the original price as I looked at my prior receipt I seen it was $1.79. I asked why is he charging me 179 but the can says 99 cent. He replied this isn’t Walmart. I was confused on what he meant by that but I took it as an insult to my intelligence! (Being that everywhere it’s sold for 99 cent) If the founder of Arizona green tea says the price isn’t going up due to inflation what gave you a right to almost double the price. When an item is advertised for.99 cent that’s what it’s supposed to be sold for! When he buy it at a discounted rate he triple his money that’s not business that’s PRICE GOUGING!!!!! I contacted the company I’m patiently waiting on a response.

A Hidden Gem in New Orleans East – Saint Manchus! Steven customer service is top-tier! From the moment we walked into Saint Manchu the vibe was welcoming and full of good energy. I’ve never seen an owner do it all—Steven was running the register, cooking the food, and still taking time to greet and engage with every customer. That kind of dedication is rare. And let’s talk about the food—the gumbo was a 10 out of 10! Rich, flavorful, and made with love. You can taste the soul in every bite. If you’re anywhere near New Orleans East, do yourself a favor and stop by Saint Manchus. Highly recommended!

1st, the parking lot is rough, so be careful. Located at Chef & Read, we wanted some wings and boiled seafood. I ordered both along with a Shrimp & Broccoli plate. The wings were good and flavorful, but the fries were soggy (requested fried well). The boiled crabs and potatoes were good, too. The Shrimp & Broccoli left a lot to be desired. It didn't seem to be cooked fresh and not much flavor to it, including the rice. Stick with the fried chicken or the boiled seafood.

I was looking for a place that had tables to eat boiled crawfish. That's the only reason I chose this place. The bathrooms are locked. I thought as a paying customer I'd be able to use it. NOT! First, the crawfish were large, clean, and brought red. This is the only positive thing I can say. They were gross and mushy. Not even remotely fresh. I don't know how long those things were in that cooler. Ordered a bottle of Gatorade to go with the spicy crawfish. Room Temperature. Asked again to use the restroom to wash my hands. Denied. I was offered wet paper towels. No soap. There was a bottle of hand sanitizer on the counter so I tried using that. But it was the cheap kind that leaves your hands sticky. So now I have to get in my car with sticky smelly crawfish hands. Absolutely the worst eating experience I've ever had. STAY AWAY FROM...

This place has really went down. When the new owners took over horrible. The young man as the cashier is very rude and unprofessional. He just graduated from high school last year and think he can talk to you anyway he wants too. The health department really need to go through there. It's nasty looking from the parking lot to the inside of the restaurant. I normally go there for the Buffalo wings and fries. I have always gotten my wings separate from the fries so that all the juice doesn't waste on my fries. I had no problem of getting it like that but all of a sudden they are to busy to separate the items. I agreed to even pay for another plate was told I couldn't. You try to get into the parking lot through the front you might bust all your tires. So with all of this being said I want be patronizing their...
