Southshore Donuts & Restaurant — Restaurant in New Orleans

I went there this morning on November 8th 2022. I am a regular customer there, And I usually always get the same thing with occasional switching of something else.

This morning I told the lady what I wanted and she was on the phone talking to someone on her cell phone. She was trying to wait on me at the same time. I always get donut holes, Either 6 or 12, And I usually get a cream filled glazed doughnut also. This morning she did the wrong thing, And put me a chocolate covered cream filled in a bag. I told her that's not what I wanted. She made a mistake also and put a regular donut in there secondly. I told her again that's not what I asked for. She was so busy on the phone she wasn't paying me proper attention. And when she finally got it right and Rang me up, She said I'm gonna let that slide I because I know you're going through something. What she is talking about is because I told her I know she got my order wrong because she was on the phone at the same time talking. And she said I'm going to let that slide because I know you're going through something......

It doesn't matter what's going on in my life I am spending my money in your establishment Where you work. Without our business you would not have a job.

I don't mean to be rude and ugly but this really did not set well with me. You are going to let that slide shake my head..... I know where I am not wanted, I know where I don't feel treated equal as a customer, And I will not spend another penny in that doughnut shop. And when I say something I stick to it. I always thought they were nice and they usually are but I don't understand what was wrong with this particular person. I don't know her 1st name or I would call it out on here but she has red hair and she was on the phone.

I don't usually do Reviews But it's a must. If I can give them a 0 stars I would because I never in all the years I been coming here today was the worst Donuts was hard as a brick my orders had to be sent back to the kitchen because of the food being over cook buns hard I told that the Donuts would be replaced in 15 minutes with fresh Donuts so I agreed that turned into waiting two hour and everytime I come here I spend in between $30 and $60 here But I Guarantee you I will not come back again ever and I have been coming to hear every since 2000? But I ask for a refund just from the 1dozen of donuts. They pretend that they don't know how to do it. There was a lady with red hair didn't care and very disrespectful it a sad my total wait was from...

Accessing this using the Good Star method is hard . My husband and I really like this place, the donuts and food both are Very good,, the man who makes the donuts does a great job, you can tell her takes pride it doing so, not to mention he's gotta great personality, funny, never had an issue with my aggravating special requests,lol.. As for the service, as for that it friends on the day, shift and waitress. For the most part it's good, as the that"other part, let's just say I'm glad I've matured and learn to control myself in my old age, if not the server yesterday would've had a real quick, undesired, change of physical location before I left J/S.. She is lazy, hatefulland seriously needs to kill reconsider her...
