The Cedar Coffee — Restaurant in New Paris

The last day of our business trip, we were tired and drained. We decided to search for some good coffee and discovered this little place not far out of our way to the airport. This quaint little place took me back a few years of memories. Pulling up to the place, I knew I had to have a picture even if the coffee was horrible! A country side setting, gorgeous view and I have to say, it was the best cup of coffee I've ever tasted! I decided to grab a couple different flavors of truffles while there, and they too were amazing! If I'm ever near the area again, I'll visit it every morning during my stay. I highly recommend checking this place out. I had the Expresso (5 shots) with a pump of salted Caramel and it was to die for. My friend had the latte with a double shot of Expresso. My niece and I stopped in to get a drink before I took her to work. Given it is a coffee shop and not a chain, I expect things to be a little more relaxed in the wait times and we were in a bit of a time crunch. So I ordered a simple drip coffee and a bagel with butter. My niece ordered some green tea with matcha. It tool almost 10 minutes for her to get her drink and mine was being poured after hers was served. On top of that I never got my bagel because we had to leave. It shouldn't take that long to toast a bagel and put some butter on it. The whole time a dark haired girl was sitting at the prep table on the left when looking through the window in the kitchen, drinking coffee and playing on her phone while the only other person in the kitchen was doing all the work. It looked like it was something I wanted to try. It looked like they were quite busy, and the service was slow. I ordered an Egg, Cheese, Bacon Panwich and Hash Browns, and they tasted great. I ordered an Iced Blueberry French Toast Latte, but it was warm and had no ice. I drank it, but I wanted it iced. I think it was because they were so busy. I am willing to give you guys a second chance, but I think you needed more help. UPDATE: May 11, 2024-I came back for a show with the band the Flannels, and I decided to eat here before the show. I ordered a Club Sandwich, Potato Chips and Lemonade. It was all very delicious, and I would order it again. The band didn't show up, mainly because I later found out they cancelled because the drummer became a grandfather. That is great, and I understand why they cancelled.
