Lake Front Bar & Grill — Restaurant in New Prague

Decent experience but room for improvement . I recently dined here after an enjoyable fishing trip. As I was on the ice I noticed an unbearable hungerness take over my soul. As any person would I decided to go to shore to feast. When I walked in it was a pleasant and homey atmosphere. When we sat down we were handed our menus in minutes. We decided to get some appetizers including the chicken wings and onion rings. They came out very fast and were still hot when we indulged. The onions rings were scrumptious I would give them 9/10. The chicken wings on the other hand were blatantly disappointing, no flavor options and were honestly quite gross. I would give them a 5/10. However the ranch that both the onion rings and wings was the most delicious sauce I’ve ever tasted. When we got our main course it once again came out very fast and hot. However my fish sandwich might’ve been too hot, when I took my first bite of the sandwich I was immediately blasted with the boiling grease squirting out of my sandwich, other than that the fish sandwich was alright I’ll give it a 6.5/10. On the side I ordered fries they were well seasoned and fresh, I’ll give them an 8/10. My companion ordered the fish basket and was average at best when I got my hands on them I could tell they were not fresh, they were quite dry and a little chewy. I’ll give them a 6/10. Now for my final course I ordered the desert of the day which was a brownie with icecream. Once again the meal was good but nothing out of this world I thought the brownie was store bought but still good nonetheless. We have been coming here for a few years. The past couple months, the food quality declined. I figured it was just a fluke and kept going back. My bad, last night was the tipping point. My husband and best friend ordered the nachos. The meat was so cold, damn near frozen. Of course, we said something to the bartender and she was super nice and took care of it. However, the bar owner, sat at the end of the bar and heckled us. He had the audacity to ask another table, when they ordered nachos, if they wanted their meat cold or heated.

I was recommend this place while visiting a local alpaca farm, and I'm so grateful for that recommendation as we were starving and food was fast and delicious!
