My wife and I dined at George Trois this past weekend, and we can say that the tasting menu blew our expectations out of the water. The service staff and sommelier are impeccable without being stuffy. While the chef coming around to the tables added a nice touch and made us feel important.
The truffle-themed tasting menu was sublime, and the desserts changed our perspective on what can be possible with such a high-end product. Usually, when we splurge on a tasting menu, we have a few favorites, but every single dish and wine pairing stood up well and was excellent in its own right. This was one experience where we remember every single dish, because they were all our favorites. Portion size was perfect, as we left feeling satisfied, but not over-stuffed.
This experience can certainly stand up to any Michelin 3 Star restaurant in Paris, and it is one of the best experiences we have ever had.
