If Winnetka is looked at as a pie of juice tea coffee drinkers, Hometown has definitely taken business from traditional Peets Coffee and institutional Starbucks. Time will tell in a town with 11 banks and now 3 coffee shops. The blessing less realestate offices! More parking now .. The pie is being divided differently. Starbucks can't provide this type of product or service without a global remake and that's not happening and Peets may have similar issues. Place is dog friendly, people are nice and clean inside. Inside place is modern and cozy. Outside patio is amazing as well, when you place an order to dine in they give you tags with different name of the streets, it was so cool, food we had was delicious but I didn’t like chips on the side was like weird, usually for tuna sandwich either nothing or French fries.
