Flavorful, fresh ingredients, an owner that has uncompromised standards and cares about the quality of every meal that leaves his place. This place is just outstanding - the food, quality and customer service. The mushrooms taste like mushrooms, the roasted red pepper is rich in flavor on the red pepper pizza - the meatballs are home made. The dough is home made - including the Gluten free pizza. We have a family member with celiac and the owner takes this very seriously - if you have this condition, you know some restaurants do not really get it. The M&M brownie's (Gluten Free) are rich and chocolatey with rich flavors - this place cares and it translates to well prepared and flavorful food. I have searched for NYC quality pizza, and here it is, finally. Thin crispy crust, tasty dough and sauce and fresh / homemade toppings. This place has the best slice of white I’ve had in years and crave weekly! I’ve ordered white pies (Bianco) from them a number of times and it’s always impressive. I’ve even ordered one half-baked and finished it off at home for a party which was a hit with guests. The Bianco boasts a delectable garlic sauce, soft pillows of ricotta, and gloriously chewy mozzarella, finished with tasty olive oil drizzle.

The owner, Dylan, is incredibly nice and knows exactly what he’s doing with his food, serving substantial portions full of great flavor. “inspired by italian sunday dinners” is the first line of their description and i couldn’t agree more. i’ve experienced these sundays my entire life and they are some of the best memories and obviously involved food. i’ve eaten pizza from coast to coast and beyond (i’m practically o.g. “one bite”) and di famiglia nails it in every capacity. from their wide array of fresh slices to the amazing and sometimes daring “risks” with the slice of the day, they are easily a six out of five stars. all natural ingredients, great customer service, and a super inviting atmosphere. my easiest weekly decision is to stop and grab a few slices...to be fair it’s usually more than once. also, their sandwiches are bomb.com...
