Dairy Isle Cherry Valley Rd — Restaurant in Newark

Not a very good experience. Came on 7/24/25 15 minutes before close. There was one person in line and it happened to be a friend of the girl working. They talked for 5 minutes straight while we waited in line. After the girl ordered, my friend ordered and then the girls went down to the pickup window and kept talking for another 5 minutes. There were at this point 4 people behind me, all of us getting frustrated because no one would help us. The other girl working was running around trying to make my friends, and the other friend’s ice cream. When someone finally after 10 minutes came to take care of me, I ask for one of their dirty sodas and she laughed in my face and told me she had never heard of it. I then point to the sign and she goes to ask the other worker where they both start laughing because they have “no idea what I’m talking about” so I tell them I can read them their own menu which I did and they did get me my drink. Awful customer service. I walked up to the window and when the girl came to get my order she did not greet me. No eye contact was made and her attitude was horrible. Paid for 2 twisters which were not filled up fully, even though they are pricy. The twister pictured it the buckeye twister, it tasted awful! Been there when it was Mick’s and never had a bad experience. Ordered three hot fudge sundaes and the ice cream was all melted and was room temperature. If they were having problems with the machine they should have told us before hand. No apologies or anything when they passed them out the window. Should have complained, but didn’t.
