Moore's Dairy Creme — Restaurant in Newark

On 9/25 2019 we stopped to have dinner about 4:15 on our way to the Depot Days concert.. The entire time while we were there, only 1 table of 4 (who'd arrived after we'd ordered) got their orders & left. Drive-through had 4 or 5 orders, maybe. We'd ordered two patty melts & curly fries, thinking of a dessert treat after. By 5:00 our food had not been prepared & the counter girl had 2 smoke breaks & made 1 milkshake. The cook seemed very overwhelmed in the kitchen ON THE PHONE constantly but not putting out any more orders, so my wife asked about our food. It was "almost ready." A patty melt should be a hamburger patty with grilled onions, swiss cheese & thousand island on grilled rye, served hot. We got white Texas toast soggy with grease; meat patty & cold onions, very burnt. No we didn't have treats after, due to wasting 45 minutes there. Everytime I have a pick up order they are out of something. The lack there of has been their most consistent thing for my household for years. It’s frustrating. Also, I just called to place an order for two burgers. It’s sat at 7 pm. The guy who answered said “how big is your order we’re pretty slammed” as if they weren’t going to serve me. Mind you this is Before I even spoke of what I wanted or needed from the phone call. Very unprofessional. It doesn’t look good to show your customers you crumble under the slightest pressure. You should be happy this little town is in such support of a local business on a Saturday night, rather everyone drive to go to a fast food...

I very much loved the chicken it wasnt dry there were no bones in it the taste of it was amazing I didn't mind no sauce with it and the mozzarella sticks were so good. Theres also an game place near and my little brother spent so much coins. The workers were also very kind. And I love the banana split and how they put some fruits with it. All I can say is that it was amazing and I wouldnt mind going back so if you have a kid then take them there I'm sure they would love it. The inside...
