Bad Bobs — Restaurant in Newbern

The two women that work days, Anna & Joyce are always chain smoking sitting out front and never wash their hands afterwards. The workers aren't very sanitary and I refuse to get food poisoning again from a BBQ joint. The best thing on the menu is the loaded baked potato salad and it comes out of a bucket from Sysco. If you want to be treated rudely this place is for you. They don't even wait on you at the table yet there is a tip bucket on the counter. The moment you walk out without tipping, they start talking about you. The place is owned by a real jerk named Reggie Young from Murray, KY, he wanted the "God Is In Control" sign that was put up years ago by the nursing school next door taken down. I thank God the owner of the property refused to do so. I'm not getting sick again from eating thier disgusting food only to complain to manager and she was very rude and a call to the owner resulted in profanity and was told I didn't have eat there ever again and I won't. Prices are too, workers attitudes are awful and the rumor here in town they are just before going out of business. Watch and see if they wash thier hands after they come in from smoking. Most people that live in Newbern drive by and see the two women sit out front smoking and avoid the food like a bad case of diarrhea...

The normal experience here has always been far better than this one we got a basic Family pack of bbq , potato salad, beans and slaw unfortunately everything was greasy either the bbq was sitting in grease and it leaked out onto the containers of potato salad and slaw but the beans, chips and buns were good maybe one time accurance will give it another try...

The first time I dined in ...good portions... yesterday I got home and realized I didn't check my food before leaving.... oops, my sandwich barely had slaw or BBQ or meat for that matter maybe management will fix the issue tomorrow... I'm not bashing but OMG this is really a decent place...
