Bobcat Cafe — Restaurant in Newcastle

I visited 3 times recently. They have a hearty breakfast for very reasonable price. Eggs, ham, biscuits, gravy all very good. They open at 5 am and close at 2 pm. Lunch is hamburgers and sandwiches with a couple of specials like sausage and chicken fried steak. The cook/waitress does well keeping coffee and food coming to her customers. the lunch crowd fills the place. I have twice been offered a refill of coffee by a customer. Great little cafe in small town Texas. Newcastle is a unique small town with a lot of history. This cafe exemplifies the small town touch by offering large meals for small prices. This is THE Café for your meals. I don't think bobcats are allowed to dine. At least the wild animal. Sometimes when I show up I look like a wild animal. Usually still half asleep.
