Ate there last night. Food was subpar. My boyfriend ordered a steak & chicken quesadilla which was a taco. Steak was tough as leather. I ordered steak fajitas. Same. Shoe leather would have been better. It may have been shoe leather! My friend's order was totally wrong. When she questioned her food, which we all heard her order, the waiter immediately got confrontational. Told her that she got what she ordered and walked off. He never came back to check on us after that. No drink refills, never brought us a check, nothing. When complaints to the manager were made as we paid, the waiter was laughing at her. The manager never apologized, didn't offer to comp her meal, nothing. The waiter stood there laughing the whole time. VERY unprofessional of them both! Only explanation the manager gave was "they were busy all day". Would never eat there again if it was free. I usually give a restaurant at least 3 tries but they failed horribly on the first try. You'll know the waiter if you go there. Tall, obnoxious, arrogant and thought he was God's gift to women. He watched TV most of the time we were there. Must not have been that busy! Food here was fantastic. I personally got the Chori Burro, the choriqueso was fantastic. After the waiter got the order correctly. Very tasteful food. Services didnt start out so greatly. We got seated quickly, the waiter immediately asked what we wanted to drink. At this point we haven't decided, so 10mins go by he finally comes back for the drink order. He comes and proceeds to take our order but we weren't ready. 15mins go back after that finally he comes back over to take our order. Food comes out but he had gave us cheese dip instead of the chorizo queso I had ordered. The food all came out and finally the chorizo dip comes out. We finished eating but had to wait 25mins after that for him to come back to ask us about boxes.

1st time eating here. Will definitely go back. My first impression was neutral. Based on the decor, staff, clientele, menu offerings, & the general atmosphere, I expected it to be like 100 other "traditional Mexican cuisine" places I've been to. But I was quickly & pleasantly surprised! I ordered one of my safe & basic go-to's at these type of restaurants, plain bean & queso nachos with grilled chicken. And a house margarita. Our server, Samuel, was EXCELLENT! The margarita was PERFECT. Everything was presented exactly as ordered. Only bigger. For an appetizer, mine was gigantic - it lasted 2 additional meals.
