I would first like to say that I have visited many Chick-Fil-A restaurants in Georgia as well as other states. I have always received exceptional services and can truthfully say I have never had any problems with the correctness of my order, timeliness of order preparation, or employee attentiveness to service. I was also extremely excited when this restaurant opened on Popular Road due to its convenience for me. With that said, I have to say this is the worst Chick-Fil-A location I have ever had the experience of dining in (pre-COVID), utilizing the drive-thru, or ordering curbside. I have visited the restaurant many times since it opened, mainly due to convenience, and with each incident of poor service, I kept hoping that it would improve. I also held off writing a review as I try to give everyone the benefit of improving. However, I have now determined that this restaurant is hopeless. My experiences include that nine times out of ten, my order will be incorrect if I order through the drive-thru. Many of these times were not at peak times. I attribute this to drive-thru attendants not being trained properly, not paying attention to customer requests, not taking their job seriously, poor order fulfillment by inside staff, or a combination of all of it. These factors would indicate this restaurant is seriously lacking in managerial supervision. In an attempt to try to receive a correct order, I switched to curbside pick-up which did seem to work better most of the time. However, I still fail to receive correct salad dressings, sauces and other condiments. On occasion, they are omitted completely. Most recently, I received a Chick-Fil-A sandwich that I picked up to eat on my way to another appointment. About the third bite, I had a strange taste. I looked down and there was blood in the sandwich.𤎠Needless to say, I have not been able to eat a sandwich since that time. I called the restaurant back, and I spoke with a manager to advise of the situation. I was not impressed with his response to the situation as he basically said âsometimes that happens.â He told me to bring the sandwich back, and he would give me another one. I explained I did not have time to do that. He then said âcome by anytime and tell them âmgrâ said give you a free sandwich. Due to that experience, I havenât had a desire to return to any Chick-Fil-A. However, yesterday morning we had an early morning appointment and my husband wanted a biscuit. I pre-ordered four chicken biscuits to pick-up curbside. We arrived and their was one car in front of us waiting. We waited for at least 20 minutes to receive our order. During this time, there were approximately eight cars that drove-up, received their order, and left. There were also about ten cars that pulled out of the drive-thru. Not one person came to check to see why we were sitting there so long, or even acknowledged our presence. When we finally received our order, I asked why it took so long? I am assuming that it was a manager who had brought our order out stated that âthey had an order for 25 biscuits, then 16 biscuits which put them behind. Then they fill orders according to when they are received in the queue.â In my humble opinion, orders for 25 or 16 biscuits should have been considered special/catering orders and not accepted during prime breakfast hours if it interfered with the normal progression of breakfast orders. This incident was the last straw for me with this restaurant. Until there is a management change or improvements made, it may be convenient, but I wonât be back. I highly recommend you check all orders before leaving the premises and be prepared to wait especially during...
Read moreThis Chick-fil-A was the very first location we stopped at for a quick bite after several hours of traveling.
We landed in Atlanta, GA just earlier that morning after flying from California. On route towards Columbus, GA, hunger had set in and we all really could use a bite. This location was coming up ahead on our route south, so once we arrived, we parked and attempted to place our order via their website. We were a large traveling party of 10 in an oversized vehicle, so it was just simpler this way. Upon mobile checkout, the transaction errored out and didn't submit, yet the charge is now pending on my CC account.
Worried, I went inside to try and confirm if my large order had gone through. The young lady at the counter went around the corner and called for Austin for assistance. Here is when our experience really shined. Austin went out of his way to clarify the transaction, and that it won't be charged since the order never completed onto their system. He also took the time to retake our large order, making sure we communicated everything we wanted. Within a short time after (no exaggerations), our order was personally handed over to us by Austin. Who then made conversation with us, seeing that we were traveling. Got to know him and Chick-fil-A a bit better, and before we went our separate ways, he also threw in a few points of interest we might find worth a visit.
Stating so, I do hope Austin sees this. I am greatly appreciative of your efforts and professionalism. We were all stressed out (and hangry) from traveling and experiencing your kindness and clarity really helped us unwind over a very needed hot lunch. Thank you sir...
Read moreI have been to this location/ordered delivery many times and I believe this may be my last. My order has been wrong several times and today my order wasnât even delivered to the right place. I live in an apartment and I left my apt# and gate code on my order and it was delivered to the front office of my building instead of my door. About 10 minutes go by and Iâm wondering where my food is since I got my âorder arrivedâ message. I called and asked about my order and was told my order was still on its way, then the delivery driver apparently walked in the door, I was told to hang on Iâll ask. Not even a few seconds later I was told that he had an issue with my apartment number and just left it at the office. Why wouldnât someone call me? I was so beyond frustrated as well to see my information printed very clearly on my order online? So what exactly was the problem? Upon getting my food it was no longer hot since it is fairly chilly today. I get that people have off days and make mistakes...but never assume that a customer is going to know what youâre doing especially if itâs something out of the norm. The way this was resolved was subpar, âyeah sorry about thatâ isnât acceptable either. I am not expecting anything for free and I wasnât expecting anyone to come back and bring me my food, I was expecting a decent apology considering I paid for a delivery fee and a tip. I really do try my best to understanding because I have been in customer service before but itâs early in the morning and my child was sleeping and I had to wake him up to go pick up my food at the front office. I guess you can say Iâm just frustrated...
