GREAT breakfast! Service was very good. Cool little toasters at the table for your bread. You toast your own bread. Kinda cool actually! Old style toasters add to the atmosphere. I had the chicken fried steak breakfast. It was very good, generous amount of gravy but not too much, if that makes sense. I got my eggs scrambled, and they tasted like they were cooked in the bacon grease! I love that taste, just like my Grandma use to do it. Bacon was crispy, but not overdone perfect. I got the hash browns, they were ok. This place is two hours from my house, so I had never been before. If I end up back there for a breakfast meal I would get the breakfast potatoes. We had 11 people in our party, I think everyone got what they ordered and the orders were correct and all came out together. One of the people in our party had eggs Benedict and loved it. We had a big group so they added the gratuity to the bill. Don't double the tip by accident! I am good with the tip being added for the group we had. This place is way too good to be so far away from my house. We stopped in after a holiday snowmobiling trip. I couldn't believe the love that went into all the food. The menu has lots of classic options with creative twists. Toasters at each table. Breakfast, lunch and dinner served here. I already want to go back. I had the gourmet grilled cheese with a deconstructed wedge salad. My boyfriend had the eggs Benedict. The sauce was out of this world. Our friend had the Philly cheese steak. Chimney Rock Cafe is one of my family's favorite places to go for breakfast when were in town. Their huckleberry pancakes are so amazing and the portion size you get is insane. There are toasters on each table so you can toast your bread to your personal liking. We've never been disappointed when we go there. The last time we went they forgot some add-ins that we asked for in an omelette. I totally spaced it and forgot to tell them until after they charged my card. When I mentioned it, they let me pick out one of their pastries and it was well worth the trade off. The service is great and the atmosphere is perfect for a morning spent with family...
