Hardee’s — Restaurant in Newton

When the food is actually fresh and the service isn't rude it's a good place to go but unfortunately that doesn't happen often enough. When I went this last time, it was about 20 minutes til close and I had ordered regular fries on accident instead of curly fries.. I had caught it in time before they made my food and asked if I could change that part of my order. I know they are able to and I was willing to pay the difference if any but the girl absolutely refused. I had even seen the fries in the tray they dip from. Then I was also asked to pull forward to wait on my meal, so I did, although there was no one else in line behind me. and when another girl brought my food out i tried to explain that I know they could do this for me and she exclaimed "Well we just got through with a busy crowd" like it's my fault they were busy or since they were busy it somehow caused them to not be able to operate the register correctly,more like they just didn't want to.. The real problem here is Macy. The last 3-4 times I or my family have been there she has been rude.I don't know her in anyway other than through Hardee's so there is no personal issues She is just simply rude. One of the times we had been dining in, she had brought us our food and just dropped the orders on the table. Not handed them or nicely sat them down,DROPPED them. I worked at Hardee's when I was 16-17 and I remember it being a nice place to work and eat, dine-in or carryout. Maybe the management has just gone down hill or maybe they're unaware of these actions. Either way it is disappointing, especially since you're limited on fast food ...

Rarely go in to this Hardee's location and this visit didn't change my .ind and make me stsrt coming back. The Frisco sandwich in my order was un acceptable. The whole sandwich was cold..the bread had not been toasted or grilled like Frisco sandwiches are suppostrd to be. It was white bread..the meat of the sandwich was cold..not warm bit cold. When my husband took it up to the counter Carla the cashier that had took our order and handed to us when it was done and ready said "our grill is down today" .. my sandwich was grilled..this seemed to be an outright lie..not even an excuse. Under protest Carla took the sandwich and provided a fresher one. Our fries were cold. This visit was right right before high school kids and workers came in for the lunch hour rush. So busy the staff was not. In fact our order was only one they had at the time we ordered. Won't be back not even if we're desperate. Not a very friendly to the...

I've literally had one accurate order from here. It's such a common occurrence, I've almost stopped going to this location. The worst experience is when one order was messed up, I called them. They answered the first call, said they'd call me back, but never did. So I called back throughout the following day, only to be ignored. They at one point actually left the phone on so I couldn't get through. I only know this bc I went back to the location, and called again while the phone was in view. I asked about it, and the manager claimed it was "acting up" and still refused to fix the order because they said I didn't contact them! Awful service from a few select workers, the 2nd star in my review is for the good workers with excellent customer service skills, they at least have some decent ones. Fast food...
