La Poblanita mexican restaurant — Restaurant in Newton

I am always amazed at how QUICKLY you get your food after placing your order. We were celebrating Mother's Day and my daughter-in-law's birthday so we had reservations and a whole table full of people. I would definitely suggest making reservations you are expecting a large number of people at noon and at 6 PM. I think almost everyone at our table (12!) ordered something different so we were tasting each other's dishes, too. Everything was DELICIOUS! Plus, I was introduced to several new plates to try next time. The restaurant was torally packed and also doing a lot of carry out while we were there, but the service did not suffer at all! Five stars, A+, 100% for La Poblanita!!! Be sure to give them a try! Follow-up: Another Sunday lunch with family and another home run! I tried the tamale with rice and beans...it...

We found this restaurant quite by accident while in town visiting family. The food was good, the staff were friendly and helpful and the decor was cheerful and pleasant. Even better the place was very clean. We found the menu had a good selection of meals and reasonable prices. We really liked this restaurant and next time we visit we will look forward to...
