This was hard to rate. We’ve eaten here one time before and it was good and our server was very nice. Today was a bad experience. The eggs Benedict was drenched in hollandaise sauce as you can see. In all fairness, when we discussed this with our server, she did offer to remake it or take some of the sauce off (not sure how that is reasonable 🤨) we refused both options and just sent it back. We pulled up a picture of what normal eggs Benedict looked like so maybe she could grasp why we sent back. Their own menu has a picture of A Benedict, but it not a picture of the Benedict they serve you. Rather than just leave it at sorry, she defended how it was made and said that they’ve done it that way for 9 years and never had a complaint. The biscuits and gravy were really good. I expect that to be swimming in gravy. The picture I’m posting was from someone else’s review of The Brick. I was shocked the waitress still charged for the eggs Benedict considering my husband handed it back to her immediately and just bill us for what we did eat. Nope. 4 cream cheese poppers $7.99 - overpriced. I wouldn’t have ordered them if I know it was only 4 to an order, my expectation would be 6-8 3 sausage links 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy 1 hash brown with cheese and onions (shredded cheese that wasn’t melted) Apple juice and a plain coffee She didn’t take the eggs Benedict off of the bill, despite my husband saying he’d pay for it despite not touching it. She should have had the good sense to adjust the bill. I think $50+tip was entirely too much to pay for what we got.

This building has so much history that it's worth the stop just for that! It started as the KIMLARK INN (1924-1963) as a boading house for 100 men. This was to replace an older building called the GRANDVIEW HOTEL. By 1964, they no longer wished to own it, so they gave it to the Sister Servants of Christ the King for a nursing home and retirement home they called Maryhill Manor. By the 1980s, the building really wasn't working out, so the sisters moved. Since then, the building has been privately owned. Our waitress was super helpful in answering our questions about the paranormal activities, which, of course, was my 1st question, not the specials. She mentioned that the elevator was removed and the shaft was left empty, and she won't even go near it because she swears at night she has seen things. Awesome! All of the history aside, we had pasty, pizza, and salad bar. The pizza is what they are known for, and the thin crust was amazing, but so was the pasty. Our waitress took her time with us and was super friendly. Great stop if passing through.

Nathan was my waiter. Very friendly and prompt. I ordered the full rack of ribs with soup and salad bar. The hamburger soup is very popular and needed a refill ... I can see why - it was amazing. Good salad bar options - not crazy, but everything you need - and fresh. The ribs were slow cooked and fall off the bone good. They put a little more sauce on than I like - but tasted good. Next time I will order sauce on the side and add myself. This time I just scraped some off. Easy to do and tasted great.

I dont like to leave a negative review, but when the service is as bad as we had tonight, I feel people need to hear it. If nothing else, the staff need to hear it in order to see the problem and work to fix it.

The food was okay, once we finally got it, but it definitely wasn't anything spectacular enough to make up for the terrible service.

We went for the Monday night special of all you can eat wings, but the kids all just got pancakes or French toast. We didnt even get a chance to order a second order of wings because it took so long to get the food to begin with and our waitress never checked on us.

We didn't wait for a table and we didnt wait for our water; but everything else was an extremely long wait. It took at least 20 minutes from the time we got our waters to the time the waitress came back to see if we were ready to order. Then we ordered and it took an extremely long time to get our food, especially considering we didnt order anything too difficult; but then when we finally got our food, one of the kids orders wasn't there. They forgot one and it took just as long as the first wait time just to get his plate of French toast and bacon...

All this time, the waitress ignored our empty water cups and didnt even look at us when she finally brought out the missing plate; just dropped it off in passing. No apologies for the screw up or anything. We never did get to order a second order of the "all you can eat" wings due to the waitress never coming to our table besides to bring out the food and rush off. My husband and I got 2 different sauces on the wings and she didnt even know what one was which, just passed them out saying that she didnt know what was what and took off, my husband and I could tell by looking at them she gave them to the wrong person and we had to swap plates.

When the 4 kids who got their food right away were done before the oldest even got his food; my husband took them outside to the porch while I waited with my oldest while he ate. The waitress didnt even bring the bill, I went up to the counter to get it and paid right away.

We were there for 1 hour and 45 minutes. And the waitress came to our table a total of 5 times; to get our drinks order, bring our drinks, take our order and then the 2 times she brought food out since there was one missing the first time. Thats it. Thats just unacceptable to me and I dont plan on ever...

The Brick used to be our go to spot on Sundays for brunch, and after the last visit we will not return for quite a while. We went for their Monday night wings for the first time…supposed to be “all you can eat”, turned out it was “6 is all you can eat”. We arrived shortly after 5 and the dining room/bar was less than half full. We immediately placed our order for the first round of wings, as well as some appetizers. At no point did anyone say there would be an extended wait or anything. The only time we saw a server was when a new table came in and they would quickly scoot off into the kitchen before you could catch them. Those first wings (only 6) showed up at 6:30, over an hour later. Right away we put in the request for the second round of the wings, and asked about getting our appetizers. Sometime after 7 we had to ask once again for the appetizers we never got, and while waiting for the second round of wings we overheard the servers telling another upset table that they “had several large to-go orders for chicken”. I wish I could say “well at least we had the soup and salad bar to hold us over”, but there wasn’t even enough lettuce to make a single salad, and the soups were empty to the point of scraping the dried caked to the sides.

We watched a man come in for his to-go order (whether or not it included chicken, I’m not sure) and wait about 45 minutes after his pre-scheduled pick up time. We only witnessed one other order get picked up, and they also seemed irritated about their wait. The table across from us had to inquire about their non-chicken meal that never showed up, and then when it finally arrived they requested it to be boxed up to take home, and could they get some more pasta sauce on the spaghetti (those noodles were barely tinted red). The server came out and told them they were completely out of sauce.

By 7:30 we were fed up and needed to get tired/hungry children home and our second round of wings was still no where in sight. There were 4 or 5 tables that had arrived shortly before we got our first round that had still not received anything at their tables so we knew it was going to be quite some time before we saw anything more. We ended up flagging someone down to cash us out so we could leave. The staff could barely even fake an apology and wouldn’t comp anything on the bill.

I’ve never gone to an All-You-Can-Eat meal and left...
