Wawa — Restaurant in Nicholasville

Stopped in to get gas. A disabled customer was at the pump near us and their car wouldn’t start. We offered help and they raised their hood at which point a little maniac with dark hair who said he was manager came out and said opening hood was against the law and only certified mechanics could open hoods and work on cars. I told him he was a liar as everyone checks their oil. He then said I am going to have you arrested. We both said go for it. It turned out their car had serious engine issues and would require towing. The attitude from the staff at WAWA was absolutely disgusting. Leaving a disabled couple and threatening to have them and anyone who helped them arrested. They will never get a dime of our money or any of our friends. Don’t go there and have problems, they only want people they consider are worthy not average people or people struggling to...

Decided to try this place out for lunch and was fairly disappointed. My biggest complaint is the lack of an actual menu and person taking orders. I hate having to use a touchscreen, scroll through a dozen pages, and add/ delete items just to see what's available and the prices. Please just let me look at an actual menu with prices on the wall and then give my order to an actual person. Other than that the food was just ok. I had a cheese steak and soup combo. Great addition right next to our truck terminal! The new Wawa is clean, modern, and very convenient. Fuel pumps are easy to access, prices are fair, and the store inside is well-stocked with fresh food, snacks, and drinks. The staff is friendly and quick to help, which makes a big difference when you’re on the go.
