š Lake Sheridan Grill: Where the Food Floats High, but Alea Sails Higher š
If Lake Sheridan itself could serve up a meal, it would probably take notes from the kitchen at Lake Sheridan Grill. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. From the first bite to the last, every dish was a ripple of flavorāfresh, hearty, and crafted with care. Whether you're diving into their perfectly grilled steaks or wading through a sea of crispy fries, it's clear the culinary team knows how to make waves.
But as unforgettable as the food was, it was our waitress Alea who truly stole the show. If charm were a current, Alea would be the tide that lifts all boats. She glided through the dining room with effortless grace, her warm smile and quick wit making every interaction feel like a lakeside breeze. Attentive without hovering, friendly without being over-the-topāshe struck that rare balance that turns a good meal into a great experience.
Alea didnāt just serve us; she welcomed us. Her energy was infectious, her timing impeccable, and her genuine enthusiasm made us feel like honored guests rather than just another table. Honestly, if the food was the anchor, Alea was the sailāpropelling the whole evening into unforgettable territory.
So yes, come for the food. But stay for Alea. Sheās the real catch of the day. š£

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is a gem out of nowhere!! Start to finish, we honestly have a dinner club that's about 10-30 of us, depending on personal agendas that attend monthly at certain locations, this was my first visit here only been in NEPA region for about 11 years now, and never heard of this place. However, I arrived at Lake Sheridan 15 mins early so I sat at the bar with 2 other club members with a cosmo. Cosmo was on point and paid at the bar which I didnt mind. Once our table was ready, we carried our drinks to the table.
In hindsight, we did call in advance and left a message to place a reservation to have the lake view seating but didnt get a call back and was left outdoor seating on the left side...
However, our waitress was over-the-top accommodating, and gave recommendations for all apps, sides, lunch, entrees and drinks... The serving sizes were amazing as well! Fried pickles and side salad with crumble blue cheese and balsamic dressing and then had the grilled fish tacos and side grilled zucchini that was SOOO GOOD!!...always had fried and never liked them, the issue with most restaurants serving grilled fish is that it falls apart...not in this case, and it was amazing!! Everything from the drinks to entrees was amazing...I will definitely be back!!
Im just hoping...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreArrived to a semi full parking lot on a Friday evening and was warmly greeted at the door by our hostess. We decided to sit at the bar in lieu of a table. Our bartender was very courteous and we were served quickly. There was a nice variety of draft beers, a few crafts and a few domestics, maybe two imports. The menu is simple but informative. Again, good variety but it seems like barbecue is the chef's specialty. I ordered two meats, brisket and ribs. My girlfriend got the pulled pork panini. The ribs seemed to be dry rubbed and baked served with sweet sauce. The brisket was great, served cubed in the sauce. I ordered a side of macaroni and cheese, which was to die for. Gooey and melty and not mushy pasta. The pulled pork was also great, seemed to be a little heavier on the smoke which is what I prefer. Massive portions is an understatement. Really cozy restaurant with a great view of the lake. Can't wait to come back and drink...
