Curly Q's is a great bang for the buck. The staff is all family and are really nice people, great conversation while we waited for our order. Location is a bit off the beaten path but well worth the detour. We'll definitely be repeat customers.
We ordered the 1/2 chicken, pulled pork sandwich, gourmet mac & cheese, and a slice of German chocolate cake. Came to $23 and was worth every penny.
The sauce is more savory than sweet with a nice nip at first taste that doesn't longer to long. The chicken was superb, laid on a slice of bread and covered in sauce with thick steak fries and a small container of coleslaw.
The pulled pork was magnificent, close to 3" tall with a perfect blend of smoky flavor that just a touch of sauce on top complimented to perfection.
While not a mac & cheese fan or connoisseur, this dish was worthy off the gourmet moniker. 8 different cheeses and baked low and slow for 4 hours. I only got a few bites in before my kids destroyed it and asked me to...

The restaurant in itself didn't seem to have AC going at the time although very hot day. Also, there wasn't much seating, however the restaurant was clean.
I ordered the large rib tips which comes with steak fries. I also requested they mix the standard bbq sauce with the hot bbq sauce. I also got a hot link.
Rating Breakdown:
Taste: 10 - I just wished there was more.
Cut: 6 - As seen in the picture the ribs are very thin.
BBQ Sauce Mixed: 1000, why isn't this in a bottle. Note, you must like spicy.
Steak Fries: 8 - Again, portion l, but I'm a but of a fryacolic. Also, cooked a little over the just crispy mark.
Hot link: 10 - I am very picky with my incased meats, and this by far might be the best.
On a side note, i was surprised to see they didn't offer one...
Read moreOne word: family. When you enter the building, they instantly greet you and ask how you have been. I work long hours, but feel like I am home when I visit them for lunch. I also catered an event for my parent's wedding anniversary and I was blown away by their service and taste of the food. Every one of the guests asked where I got the meal from because it was so delicious. The pulled pork and chicken were smoked to perfection, mac and cheese was bomb, baked beans fire, corn bread just...Lord have mercy. They arrived early and set up quickly. 30 people ate an order made for 50 because of how great it was. I highly recommend them every chance I get. My favorite meal is to order pulled pork plain, pile the mac and cheese on top, and sauce on the side to dip. If you want a local small business to support, look no further. We have become true friends if not family at this point and I plan on supporting as much as I can, especially in...
