Cliffside Cafe — Restaurant in Noel

(Party of 2) We were super excited to try this restaurant because we had seen the signs all around town of the “Cliffside Cafe”. It was also super close to where we were staying and floating so it was super convenient.

Upon arrival, we were ignored for a few minutes before the nice waitress let us know that we could sit anywhere (No ‘self seating’ signage). After getting our drinks and ordering our food, we waited around 45 minutes for our food to come out . (Appetizers included) There was some food missing so we gently reminded the waitress, no big deal. As we began eating, we noticed that the food was cold and dry. While eating, the other waitress was coming into the seating area and just shouting what she has instead of taking it to the correct table. There were multiple people waiting there before us that still didn’t have their food. The nice waitress that was helping us didn’t even work for the restaurant, she just came in occasionally when they needed help.

The restaurant itself was unorganized and dirty. The owner needs to invest in the look and feel of the restaurant as well as hiring more help.

After eating our subpar food and not receiving a single check back, we were eager to get out of there. There were customers from all directions asking where there food was, while at the same time employees were arguing over turning the “open” sign off. This was a disaster to watch. One of the waitresses even said “this isn’t even a bad night”. I can’t even IMAGINE what a bad night looks like. Upon the exit to our car, there was an employee smoking in the front of the restaurant and two cooks in the back of the restaurant smoking. While customers are inside waiting and growing impatient with the extended wait times!

Overall it was not a great experience and I wouldn’t recommend anyone go to this spot until the owner...

Some friends and I stopped by this diner after a long day of floating and we were seated immediately. A waitress came over and told us that someone else would be with us because she hadn't had a table yet. We sat and waited for a while until another table came in and the waitress who was supposed to wait on us went to their table immediately. We were confused and then became upset when the waitress in question would not even look at our table. Eventually a friend went to the counter and asked what the issue was. We then had someone who told us she isn't even a waitress, but rather a dishwasher come and wait on our table. We appreciate that woman, but were very confused as to why the waitress wouldn't take our table. It is impossible to know what is going on in someone else's head, but it is also hard to ignore that we were a diverse group and the waitress only took all white tables. The food was fine and we are exceptionally grateful for the lady who did wait on us, but I can honestly say this was an unpleasant experience and the waitress who refused to look at us should be ashamed because I certainly am ashamed for her. I will not be returning...

We had gone here for breakfast a year ago and remember it being good. We went for dinner last weekend and were blown away. We both got bacon cheeseburgers with curly fries and onion rings. Our food was fast, hot, and really good. We both commented that it was one of the best burgers we've had in a while. We came back for breakfast the next morning. I got the sausage breakfast burrito and added 1 pancake. I'm not usually one to pick a breakfast burrito, but it sounded good and boy it did not disappoint! The pancake was also amazing; it was crisp on the outside and sweet and fluffy inside. Probably was one of the better pancakes I've had it a while also. The waitstaff we had was great.
