The restaurant was nice and clean. Itâs a nice cozy feel. The staff is friendly. Walking in we were greeted and welcomed to sit wherever we would like. We were given Menus to order from. They asked if we wanted the complimentary salad and soup. They were really small servings. The soup was a Miso broth with two tiny pieces of tofu. The salad had a few pieces of lettuce with ginger dressing. They both were good. Our waitress was new and didnât know much about the menu. We ordered appetizers - when served we had to ask for plates and sauce bowls. Kimchi Pancake â came out first and it was awesome, very flavorful and fresh. Monkey Brains - Half cut avocado stuff w/spicy crab meat, layered spicy tuna, flashed fried, topped w/Sushi Chef's special sauce, it came out and it wasnât all that good! It had a bland taste and tasted like they needed to Chang out their oil. Tasted like old fried food. We ordered Main Meals: Spicy Chicken Bento Box - Served with 4pc California rolls, Chef's choice 2 side dishes, Chef's choice 2pc Vegetable tempura, 2pc Yaki Man Do, 1 Shrimp tempura & Fried Rice Spicy Pork Dinner Plate â Spicy Pork served with Rice, Potatoes, Yellow Radish, Cucumbers, and Lotus RootâŠno Kimch! What Korean Restaurant doesnât serve Kimchi! The spicy pork and chicken tasted the same. It had a sweet taste and had no spice to it. When they served the spicy pork plate with rice, they didnât serve any of the vegetables with it. When asked the waitress said it didnât come with any then she comes out from the back with four little bowls with skimpy serving of the vegetables, potatoes, yellow radish, cucumbers, and lotus rootâŠno kimchiâŠthe vegetables tasted better than the main dish. the rice was good. The bento box was very oily due to the tempura. The fried food tasted of fried oil. I didnât enjoy the tempura. The fried rice was kinda meh! Not good. The California rolls didnât even come with wasabi or ginger. This is only my opinion and something you have a hit or miss day. This was a miss for us today! Who knows, you may try...

Read moreI am not sure how this place has so many 5 star reviews. Definitely was not a 5 star experience. I will sayâŠupon entering we were greeted and welcomed to sit wherever we would like. Menus were brought out, and we were offered the complimentary salad and soup, these servings were very skimpy. The soup was just broth and the salad had maybe 4 pieces of lettuce w ginger dressingâŠok coolâŠit was complimentary. The waitress was really new and didnât know anything about the menu when I asked her a few questions regarding the veggies they used for the dol sotâŠanyway. We ordered the kimchi pancake and monkey brains for appetizers, we didnât get any small plates to use w our appetizers and had to ask for chopsticks and dipping bowl. The kimchi pancake came out and it was amazingâŠthen it went downhill from there. The monkey brains came out and all you could taste was the oil they fried the stuff in, it tasted like old oil. For dinner we ordered the spicy chicken bento box and spicy pork dinner plate. NowâŠI have an unwavering love for Korean foodâŠwhen I say this was not Korean, this was NOT Korean food. The spicy pork and chicken tasted identical. It was sweet and had an underlying flavor that I canât put my finger on but it was gross and made me sick to my stomach. I had to ask for the âveggiesâ that are supposed to to come with the pork plate, to which I was told it didnât come with itâŠthen after a bit she corrected herself and brought potatoes, yellow radish, cucumbers, and I believe lotus rootâŠno kimchiâŠwhat Korean restaurant doesnât give cabbage kimchi? AnywayâŠthe veggies tasted good, the rice was good, but I barely ate any of the âspicyâ pork. I couldnât stomach it. The bento box was an oil slick of fried food that tasted of fried oil. We couldnât enjoy the tempura or mando. The fried rice was more like oiled riceâŠand the California rolls didnât even have wasabi or gingerâŠletâs just say we wonât be back and we wonât be suggesting it to...
