After a hot day out at Gator Country this is a perfect stop to bring your kids, sit outside and eat Boudain balls, shrimp and crawfish. There is plenty of fun things for the kids to play with outside, the breeze from the trees feels great, the food is well priced and tastes so good. They have burgers, po boys, salads, seafood platters, delicious sides and even desserts if you don't get too full. Wonderful place to stop with the family and I could see it being a great date night stop in the evenings. They have fire pits and a TV outside. I'm sure the menu changes a bit from lunch to dinner but I have only experienced it during lunch time so far. If you are not used to Nome water then I suggesting getting a soda of some sort!

Second time in two weeks, coming from Lumberton to enjoy this place. Pictures speaks for itself we cannot rave enough about the gumbo. shrimp and crab and the sausage and chicken gumbo were delicious. My husband had the red fish blackened with the shrimp, crawfish, crab ponchatrain sauce is Oh so delicious. I had the delicious and you could tell they were homemade crabcakes blackened with the cucumber and tomato, purple onion salad, and love those homemade onion rings. This place is great. The atmosphere is wonderful. The service is great and the food is can’t wait to see what I’m gonna try next. Everything has been so good.

I have been craving crispy fried catfish. This did not dissapoint. I got the fried shrimp and catfish combo, both were excellent. Chose the onion rings & fries as the side. The onion rings were hand battered putting them on top on my list. The boudin balls were creamy inside making them so good. The seafood gumbo needed more seasoning but full of lump crab and shrimp. We stopped here because of the outdoor patio area since we had our dog with us traveling through town. Disappointed that they are not pet friendly, so we just parked in the shade and ate in the truck. Hidden gem, worth the stop.

I have been here twice for takeout, ordering crawfish both times. Each visit has been a great experience, not just because of the delicious food but also because of the staff, who have been incredibly professional, welcoming, and friendly.

The crawfish have been fresh and perfectly cooked on both occasions. The spice level was just right, though I requested extra seasoning for an extra kick. Peeling them was easy, and I had no issues with any of them. Over two separate visits a week apart, not a single crawfish tasted off or was inedible.

My kids absolutely loved their meals and made “happy plates,” especially enjoying the green beans. The onions and bacon in the green beans added so much flavor, making them even more delicious.

This might just be my new favorite spot for crawfish! I also love that they offer an outdoor seating area with a play space for kids. I have not had a chance to use it yet since I have only done takeout, but I am looking forward to trying it...

We live in Fannett, down Hwy 365 from Rogeaux's, and we got a to-go on our way home. Rogeaux's is easy to find, just off the Hwy 90-Hwy 365 intersection. We got a few things to help us sample the menu: boudain balls; bowl of seafood gumbo; Texas burger (add extra patty, double bacon, double cheese) with onion rings; catfish plate-grilled with coleslaw, add 6 shrimp-grilled. Everything was WONDERFUL. Dark roux gumbo with sizeable shrimp and nice pieces of crab meat--rice and saltine crackers were included. Onion rings were hand made and light, the kind that melt in your mouth, the best in Southeast Texas. Grilled catfish/shrimp were perfect, seasoned just enough. The boudain balls were so good, I immersed 2 in my seafood gumbo instead of having gumbo on rice. I highly recommend Rougeaux's restaurant for bona fide, genuine Southeast Texas food. We'll definitely be...

Delicious hole in the wall place. we drove half an hour to check this place out because it was reccomended by a friend and it did not disappoint. I got the blackened catfish with the ponchatrain sauce and it was so good! Onion rings were great, my son loved his fried catfish and okra, the mashed potatoes and gravy were some of the best I've had and I cant wait to to go back and try the chicken fried steak with that gravy! We had the texas sheet cake for dessert it was served warm with a scoop of blue bell ice cream it was the perfect ending to an amazing meal. The atmosphere was beautiful at night we sat outside with the outdoor lights and lit up fire places. Our server was friendly and professional. I highly...
