Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Norfolk

First off i would like to start with how the service was disgustingly horrible the cashier “E” was so rude and had an attitude the entire time i was placing my order. I ordered my food which was wings, french fries and two drinks. it came time for me to get it. First off the guy who brought my food out was holding it awkwardly and placed it on the counter (mind you no one bagged the food or gave me a bag) i saw my container with my fries wasn’t secured properly but still i asked for a bag, he looked at me and my food and had an attitude with getting the bag. At this point i was already annoyed communicating with him. I then proceeded to remind him i was missing my drinks and he had an attitude with getting the drinks. I am now looking at all the stuff i have to carry out with one bag. I knew it wouldn’t all fit but did the cashier know ? He didn’t care he expected me to put everything in that one bag and leave, so i asked for another bag separately for my drinks and you guessed it, he had an attitude with that. As i grab my bag with my food and start walking away my bag handle opened up ( because i had to carry all my food in one bag) and my food fell. The chicken was good and secured but the fries spilled out. I cleaned it up mind you the cashier nor the other person that was there gave me anything to clean it up with everyone was just on their phones. I then turned around and asked the cashier for a replacement because they were not fully secured in the first place. He then proceeded to tell me it was my fault and that since i put it in the bag myself i would have to pay for another set of fries. I asked for the manager ( because i knew the cashier was a problem ) I then showed that since my chicken was properly secured the container did not open up but the fries were not properly secured therefore that is why they opened so easily. I am not tall and my bag was close to the ground it did not fall that hard on the ground to open up the way it did. Instead of giving me the replacement fries on an $50.00 order he decided to argue with me and blame me for what happened. My only mistake was taking that particular container of fries. Probably the worst Pizza Hut I've ever been to - and I've eaten at a LOT of Pizza Huts!! Went for lunch buffet. Store was dead - very empty. Doing the buffet was almost not worth it for the store. Ordering the buffet was even worse as a customer. Was in the store for 30 minutes.

The person taking my order was more interested in the music/video/whatever he was watching on his phone. had ear buds in both ears and didn't seem to care if anyone actually said anything to him. The other t-shirt wearing employee was just as fixated on his electronic device. BOTH were eye-glued to their devices the WHOLE TIME I was there. Taking orders, handing out orders, taking out trash, shutting down the buffet - all was done single handedly as the they had an electronics device in one hand THE WHOLE TIME they were doing stuff.

Again, the store was DEAD. 5 seated customers in the store. Saw 3-4 take-outs and one delivery while there. The buffet pizzas were all unpopular varieties and looked like they were old - cheese was dried out. They were warm because of the buffet design but definitely not 'fresh.' Not ONE fresh pie was set out while I was there. No one offered to change to a personal pizza or anything while there. The salad bar was stocked OK for the most part. The items looked semi-fresh. Was out of shredded cheese and no employee checked the bar status. Pasta bar was disgusting. the pastas looked horrible, bread sticks were gone and none were put out.

This place has gotten so lazy they don't use hard plates anymore. All paper plates and plastic forks. One ice machine was down (as usual...) but the tea was fresh. The sloths working the front end were disinterested in everything. Saw many chairs with loose seat tops. The floor didn't look 'dirty' but the painted concrete looked very old. Was not sticky.

For one of 5 commercial eateries on a huge military base, they have the opportunity to be slammed EVERY DAY. But they're so bad the base community has almost lost all support for this location. Time to...

Hey, don't get me wrong I love pizza hut and I'd choose it over any pizza place but, this place has the worst employees I have ever seen. These people act like they hate their jobs and are absolutely rude to the customers. I usually order when I've been working hard/late and i don't want to make anything or drive off base to go anywhere because you guys are conveniently located on base. Today the website wasnt working so i decided i would drive in and the man who took my order didnt seem pleased to take anybody's order especially mine after telling him about the site being down and told me it was going to be a big deal and harder for them since I was trying to get a carryout deal even though the site wasnt working for me to input that request online. I'm really disappointed with this location. I will still order and maybe pickup every now and then, but I wont be tipping anyone until I see a change of attitude or fresh crew around here. Not...
